Oakley came into us from holding kennels. No known history, but was found wandering. He has been in kennels for a little while, but was safe and well. He is such a lovely boy, and cat friendly. Oakley is on his way to Hampshire to be fostered.

Oakley is here - and what an absolutely stunning boy - far prettier in the flesh .... and bigger than I thought So far he is a bit subdued but gradually finding his feet - he has been flirting with Elly, was shouted at by Indy and backed off as he should, he ignored Dodger and the Cats ;D He met the children with happy wags and no jumping up. For the past ten minutes he has been throwing himself all over the sofa - i think he is just so overjoyed to be in a house, he is almost smiling He has a sore nose, probably from the bars of the kennel - but apart from that he is in pretty good shape, a bit thin and a thick kennel coat but nothing to worry about .... his plums will be disappearing tomorrow before my vet goes on holiday Will take some better pictures tomorrow ..... Have just had to turn down the heating as he is hot - obviously used to being outside !!!!!!!

Some more to keep you going ..... He is like Bambi on ice on my laminate so have had to cover the floor in mats ..... he likes all three of my dogs and would lay on top of them if they let him .... popped him in his crate whilst we ate dinner and he went in beautifully, so i reckon he has definately seen one before.... I tell you what, this boy doesnt have a bad bone in his body - he has let me take things from him, take his food away and give it back, carry him into the playroom because he hates the floor, check his teeth, groom him .... the list is endless and all this boy does is look loving in your eyes - cant wait to see him over the next few weeks. Here's to a quiet night ;D

any advise as to what to put on his nose - i did try Manuka Honey but obviously that was way too tasty !!!!!!!!!!! He doesnt seem to have any scars at all so i think he has been treated well - just needs a good few dinners to fatten him up a bit ..... He has now settled and is snoozing soundly in the lounge with the others .... I think he is just happy to be warm

I collected him from the kennels this morning and took him down to Mark. I took him for a wee walk on route and he went to order,Jumped back into the car laid down, and I never heard a peep till we arrived. He is a fabulous little dog, if Carole had seen him she would have wanted him to stay. (Carole if you read this, sorry we need a lottery win before we can have more !!) Mick

Mick I just want to hi-jack his thread long enough to say a huge THANK YOU to Mick who got this boy out of kennels this morning and drove him almost half way round the M25. ;D You're a star Mick ....... and you are on my transport list now Don't say I didn't warn you. (But I think you ought to start your own forum account - LeosMUM just doesn't suit you.
