Jasmine was the last of a litter and remained unsold, so she has come in to us to find her forever home. Apparently dad was a greyhound/saluki cross and mum a wolfhound - she's definitely got most of her looks from her dad!
Jasmine has rear dew-claws which may have been why she was passed over; dew-claws on the back legs are not uncommon but sometimes not properly formed or attached so we'll get them checked by the vet when she has her intake check-up.

Having been to my parents for the weekend in Somerset I offered to pick up the wolfhound x puppy Holly and bring her back here for the evening before she went up to her foster home.
Thanks to Jane & Dan for telling SLR about her
I have to say I had a certain image in my mind of what 'Holly' was going to look like but when I met her she's absolutely nothing like I had in mind
She is utterly gorgeous and so so sweet
She travelled well with my boys although did cry a bit on the journey as she just wanted to be with me.....bit tricking whilst driving
When we got home she met all the other houndies brilliantly and immediately started to play especially with Holly & Reggie
I spoke to Jenny and asked her nicely if she minded if we actually fostered the little girlie rather than sending her on again.... and Jenny say yes please ;D ;D
So our pretty little girl is here to stay until her forever home comes along. Obviously already having a Holly here we needed to give her a new name and she's now known as Jasmine (Jazzy-waz)
She's a really cuddle monster and foster daddies had lots of snuggles
So have Gilly & Jim as they popped over to say hi
After lots and lots of play she's finally given in and gone to sleep.... gentle Holly is on hand to watch over her
Jasmine is going to be so easy to rehome as not only is she's the prettiest dog I've seen in a long time she has a temperment to match..... I give her a maximum of 2 weeks with us ;D
Jasmine is a little sweetheart we had a very good night with her. Went up to bed about 11pm and she slept in her bed next to Mark's side of our bed and he stroked her until she dropped off. Woke up around 2.30am and Mark took her down along with Shylo and they both went outside and had a wee ;D and then back to bed where she slept through until 7am this morning - such a good girl.
We had a few accidents in the house last night but they were all right by the back door so she's doing well.
She's very very playful and seems to enjoy pouncing on all the dogs as they walk passed Most of my guys are super chilled about that and Holly seems to love playing with her, but she did get told off quite severly by Shylo this morning for jumping on her. I think it was a mixture of Shylo not actually liking being jumped on but Jasmine could well have landed on her bad tail too, so fairly understandable reaction... No contact made as it was all noise from Shylo but me thinks a little lesson was learnt by Jasmine as she's giving her a bit more of a wide berth now.
I've got an appointment with the vets at 2pm today to get her checked over. She's a little bit skinny for her age and she's got VERY smelly ears and we found a few little travellers on her last night She's also got a cut on her back foot that although seems to be healing nicely I just want checking to make sure nothing else needs to be done.
Look at the length of those legs...
Such a pretty girlie xx
I do a beautiful sit
What's up here this looks interesting
Is it a chew?
