He is used to small childern and although no lived with a cat before he has not botherd arnold at all. They are all asleep in the kitchen together. And round the corner, arnold the cat in another dog bed! Poppy is watching TV with Alex.

We have had an excellent start, he slept through the night in his crate next to me. He has had a couple of accidents but only because I was busy otherwise he makes a little noise to tell you he needs to go. Brilliant. He had a very wet walk this morning but the puddles and mud were such fun, we even managed to have a little run off lead in an enclosed area and he came back when called too. He pulls a bit on the lead but only as he so wants to play and investigate everything. We will work on that. He eats well with no problem if you put your hand in the bowl. I was so tired today I managed a sleep this afternoon It was heaven! He is asleep again now with Dave, I do hope they dont all decide to wake up later to play. Killing monkey with Mia, whose back end is off the bed, she standing on the floor sleeping. Getting tired again. My ear is pointing that way!

His relinquishng owner was working full-time and he was being left for long hours, and so started to develop separation anxiety. Lurchers do need their humans around, and they are NOT ideal dogs to be left full-time.

He is a really good dog, his previous owner has e-mailed me to check on how he is doing so he was /is much loved. He has the usual Lurcher trait of a good walk followed by a long sleep! That is how you can have lots in your house at once, with lots of cuddles to be had too of course! ;D He is a confident pup too, asking to play politely to the others, but if they tell him no he will back off then try again and although a bit young for full on lurcher play he tries! Its very difficult to get pictures of him standing still and I have lots with missing head, just a tail or a blur where he has rushed up to the camera but will keep trying he is such a cute boy.

Oh my, what a handsome young fella, he won't be waiting long! Love the photo way above of the cat in the dog basket surrounded by hounds, if only that would work in my house!!
