Its Tattys sister in the pic. She belongs to my daughter. Few photos of Duskys Christmas:- After a plate of turkey a nice roast bone and a cup of tea (nicked and caught in the act!!!) a good sleep on the sofa seems to be in order. Hope you all had a good day.

Took Dusky to meet with Rachel and Romis gang today. He's as good as gold with everything he meets but he has no recall or even acknowledgemnt that your calling him. Some work to do on that but he walks nicely on the lead. The gang meet up. Angus makes a phone call. Nero moves too fast.

I can definately vouch that Dusky is a great dog, Ginny approves of him, not a growl or snarl from her when she met him!!! BUT that does not mean that we can stretch to 3 in this household!!!! He is definately has an infinity to men (this gentleman was walking his lab and Dusky went straight to him!) - see photo below: Couple more of this great boy:

I can't believe how easy this little lad is to handle. He's had a bath, just sat there even when I showered him off. Let me clip his dew claws without a murmur. No accidents today so far!!!. Started a little training but he seems a bit puzzled by being asked to do things. I'll just go steady, sure he'll catch on. Sat down last night and Emmy got pole position on the sofa with her head on my lap, Tatty sitting on my lap. Dusk had a long look and then climbed very carefully on top of Emmy so he could cuddle up as well. Had to get up to take a pic. but they stayed there and cuddled as soon as I sat back down. Laid back or what! Space saving stacking lurchers!

Let Dusky off the lead yesterday as I was out with Romi, Rachel and Chris plus all our hounds. I hoped that he would stay around the pack, if not there were four of us to look for him!! Apart from temporarily attaching himself to a gentleman and his dog he stayed with us throughout and came back to me when I could catch his attention and call. Lots of good boys and pats!! Same again today but on my own with just my dogs, he's responding more quickly to my call. What a sweetie. He played chase with Emmy until he was totally worn out.(And veeery muddy!) Should have added before he was very good with my grandaughter crawling around him on Christmas day. I also introduced him to my sons cat. The cat was very rude to him but, although he was interested, he didn't lunge or show any aggresion, in fact was more interested in hugs and fuss from the humans. Please let a forever perfect home come soon as I'm falling in love. HELP!!!!

Please let a forever perfect home come soon as I'm falling in love. HELP!!!! Oh heck!!! Keep strong Sue! We keep saying the mantra "we cannot afford 3" as we would have him like a shot! Chris definately fell a little bit in love with him! Whoever gives Dusky a forever home will be getting one very special lad, he is gorgeous with a lovely thick coat. He is so friendly, there is not an aggressive bone in his body. He loves his cuddles and fuss! Oh gawd gonna shut up as I sound like I am talking myself into it!!!! (we cannot afford 3, we cannot afford 3!) ;D
