No real change yet. The dry crusty skin is beginning to flake away. He seems quite happy hardly ever licks it. Getting on fantastically with our other three dogs. They all seem to have accepted him easily. Leo and Jessie don't take much notice of him, Dexter seems to like him and rushed to give him licks when he came back from vets. He is so unassuming and well behaved he has just fitted right in,and you know what that might mean. Carole keeps saying he,s so sweet and she's always wanted a brindle. They all think it's fun to wake me up at 2.30 a.m to go for toilets in the garden but at my age waking in the middle of the night is quite normal. ;D He's not into playing yet but he obviously envy's the others when they are running off lead. His time will come. Still prone to the odd leg c**k indoors but we'll soon get him out of that. (we hope) A few more snaps of the boy.

Bradley Update Now seems fully part of the family. He has settled in very very well, no obvious hang ups. eats well with other dogs , waits in his place until his meal is placed for him, and as he gets his last of 4, we're quite impressed. and he has learnt to sit on request now. Leg cocks indoors now seems to have stopped and goes willingly into garden when he needs to go. His sore underside is healing quickly now as pic shows.(Sorry ladies he's not shy) The darkest areas is now mainly dry scabby skin which is gradually peeling off. He is just a lovely dog. And I think we have failed completely at our first attempt as foster parents. Seen here with Dexter

Bradley Update. he's a good boy now, no more leg cocking indoors. Gets on fantastically with the rest of the pack. never any problem with food. You can take his food bowl without any fuss, he has found his voice now, thought for ages he could not bark. But when a neighbours dog had a noisy play with Dexter he seemed worried for Dexter and started to bark and growl at the other dog. It soon stopped when we re-assured him and they were introduced normally. For the first time today he did a Jessie, started to moan/whine when you stopped rubbing his belly while roaching on the sofa. He has just popped up to say hello to me in the office for a quick cuddle then gone. Likes to cuddle up next to you on the sofa and occasionally will give you a lick. Likes the park and had a quick few minutes of lead when we saw Kieth. Returned fine, but I think he got the taste for it and now pulls to join the others when they're off. Jessie killed a rabbit yesterday, and he seriously wanted to join her. (Jessie appeared well practiced and killed it quickly without shedding blood, just held it tightly by the neck until it stopped moving I think she may have been used for hunting in her former life.) Few photos attached including a full before and after, of his poor skin on his arrival with us. He's due for his appendage removal on 13 January after the steroid tablets are finished and his system has returned to normal. He still looks a little red in last picture, but gets red if he gets warm.

What a different dog Mick and Carole Yep, they do find their feet, as you remember Jessie did. I bet Judy wished she was with you when the rabbit was caught. Her two love rabbits for dinner.
