She's gorgeous. Hmmmmmm. She is a Collie X, but has enormous back feet. Perhaps crossed with a hare. Charlie has a lovely little disposition and is as bright as a button. And very lovable and cuddly. I think she will fit in anywhere. Around 14/15" to the shoulder at the mo, or could be if she sat still long enough. She just wants to please. I'll leave Richard and Nic to fill you in. She's off to the Vets shortly for a check-up. But she's looking good, apart from being very thin underneath all that beautiful long hair. This first photo of her in kennels doesn't do her justice. Little Charlie, around 4 months old, is tinier and more feminine.

She is gorgeous and has a lovely nature as Jenny says. Very eager and lovable. Charlie a good name for her I think. Well done Jenny & Ruth for getting her out and good for you Richard & Nic for taking her in. So good to know she's gonna have a warm loving Christmas. ;D Nick x

Jenny was lucky to get her, I can tell you!
I was amazed by how tiny she is. Small enough to lift up and carry from my van to the car. And under the fur, as Jenny says, there is nothing of her.
This is probably partly due to the fact that she was poorly while in kennels. They did a sterling job with her, on 3 lots of medication, and in the isolation block.
Onwards and upwards now, Charlie! I'm sorry I had to be horrid and lock you in the nasty crate!

Introducing tiny Charlie, weighing in at a miniscule 7 kilos. As bright as a button and then some! She’s very friendly and was straight up to Nic when she came home for fuss and cuddles. What a little poppet; Jenny we might be in some danger here! She has been to the vet for a thorough check up and first lot of jabs, didn’t seem phased by the vets and met a friendly Jack Russell while waiting for her turn. The vet agreed that she’s around 4 months old and about 1 kilo underweight –she’s on antibiotics at the moment and has to have a bland diet but I’m sure she will get plenty of goodies over the Xmas period. She’s happily exploring at the moment and Chas is mellowing rapidly, Patch is as laid back as ever. Here are a few pictures to drool over.

Gosh, lovely piccies Richard, but in real life..... a 100 thousand times more gorgeous.... What an absolutely adorable poppet. So worth the 5 hours round trip and the mega shop in Sainsburys Superstore whilst I waited. All your fault Ruth.

Oooooh you know what she reminds me of? A bit heavy-set but I've never seen a tiny puppy and only a couple of adults. But: Silken Windhound-y type... they have that long back leg thing going on.

Did you have to Jules ...... They're at the top of my fantasy pack .... Stunning creatures and so is Charlie. What an amazing looking dog. Collie X or not, she's still pointy enough for me.

A quick update on Charlie pup. She had a settled night and woke full of beans at 6.30am. Chas is warming to her rapidly and has been playing with her this morning – we think he’s realised it could be quite good fun to have another playmate. She’s eating well and so far there is no sign of diarrhoea. She seems very at ease and has lost no time in exploring the sofas, desk and top of the crate! She just about reaches the work surface and has already tried her hand at counter surfing – she just needs to grow a few more inches. It looks like everything will have to be put away. She met Nic’s brother and his family today and showed no sign of fear or apprehension, happily receiving fuss and cuddles and going back for more. Here are a few more piccies:
