Freddie has come into SLR from a home environment. His distraught owner rang to say that he was bought as a present for her and then her partner left She wants the best for him so rang us to take him on as she saw free ads and wanted to know where Fredie was going and make sure that he got the best opportunity of a good life. Freddie is being fostered in Hertfordshire. Arrived safely this evening and is being a poppet. Just eaten his dinner.

Sorry to keep you all waiting. Just got 5 minutes to myself now!! Here is the delectable Freddie He is a super little chap, very friendly and already adores Alice who has instantly stepped in as extra foster mum. We are introducing him to Archie very slowly in very small doses!! He is weeing for England at the moment....even walks along weeing I'm sure this will settle down in a few days. It's not exactly the best weather outside for a new pup so I'm not too fussy at the moment. I just walk round with a mop permanently in my hand!! He had a very good first night. He wimpered for a few minutes then settled straight away for the night. Let's hope tonight is as good! Aunty Jenny very kindly came round with some supplies and the sweet little jumper. More updates later

Oh my God, how cute is he!! ;D So good of you, Norman and Judy, to take in this little cutie pie, where he will get so much love. He looks so adorable in his cosy little snowflake jumper! Could it be that he is weeing all over the place because he is just too excited at the moment? ;D (Hope this will settle soon!) How old do you reckon is he, Judy? Viviane. X

OMG I wonder if Viviane's seen this: I can't help but wonder if this is what Elmer looked like as a pup? Very very similar, Donna! Can you tell I am in *L*O*V*E* !! ;D ;D Viviane. X I'll try and get a piccie added to this thread so that you can make a comparison. There he is: Little Elmer as a 10-months-old puppy (taken by his foster dad, uncle Barney). ;D

The jumper was in the donation bucket at Pets at Home this morning, along with another one and a cute little summer t-shirt for small dogs. Just lucky for Freddie. In the flesh Fredie looks a mix of collie x grey. He was a little weary when I arrived but after having a cuddle came back for another one. I won't inflict the needle on him today, but will chip him at the weekend. Just had one little bigdog SLR collar, and I suspect it might be a little big. Has anyone got any of the little jumpers that Jessie's pups had, as one of the bigger ones would be just right for him. And he is sooooooo cute.

Probably excitement and a bit stressed Viviane. He already seems a bit more settled this morning. It must be very bewildering for them. I think he may be a bit younger than 12 weeks but I'm no expert. At the moment we have a roaring fire going and he is snuggled up with his foster daddy, all nice and toasty warm

LOL Donna my first thoughts were he looks like a mini Elmer . Blimey, I am not one for swooning over pups but I well and truly am for little Freddie , he looks like such a character, I just wanna sweep him up and him . Loving his little Saluki type mask too .
