Baxter has been good as gold here today. I've just had a text phone photo and Baxter is going to be an only doglet tonight. But ;D for Rory. Ade and Nikki have gone all the way to near Brighton with Rory today so that they know he will be happy. He will be living with 6 year old Lurcher poppy. Be very very happy little Rory. Such a gentle and easy dog who deserves the very best spoling for the rest of his life. xxxxx

yep! he definitely deserves the best spoiling and he's gonna get it too ;D After a miraculous (no hold ups) journey over the Dartford bridge, sadly I can't say the same for the poor xmas shoppers queuing for Lakeside We arrived and all took Rory & the beautiful Poppy for walk to get them introduced. Once back in the house, Poppy laid on her bed and Rory had a good explore and sniff around he then tried to drink my tea and eat my sausage roll After we'd warmed up from the first walk, we took them out again for another walk. All was going well, so we unclipped Rory's lead and he & Poppy trotted along the lane where Rory sniffed & wee'd on nearly every bush / tree / post he came across a couple of pics & video Kate, this ones for you...Ade does own a coat & jogging bottoms, but only when the temperature drops below zero LOL (click to play) be happy little Rory

Well done Ade and Nikki. He is a lovely doglet and they will get plenty of cuddles from him. Baxter was the perfect houseguest here, putting Tag to shame with his good behaviour. Michael even amanged 4 of them on lead for their afternoon walk Hope Bax doesn't miss him too much. xxx

Ahh what a perfect end to the weekend. So totally totally thrilled that Rory now has a forever sofa with lovely looking friendly smiley people . Its been a while coming along but worth waiting for I hope. Good luck to everyone...new adopters, fab fosterers with more space on the sofa and Baxter of course ;D

The house is surprisingly quiet without quiet little Rory.
Bax seems to be fine. His behaviour is slightly different but not in any bad way & he's not moping around. Altho him & Rory got on well they weren't inseparable - they never slept curled up together for instance, & most of the time kept a fairly respectful distance from each other. Hopefully they won't miss each other too much.
Sunday was tough, definitely hard to let the littler fosterlings go once you've had them that long, especially when they have as sweet a personality as Rory. We couldn't have let him go to anywhere that was less then perfect but I think that's what he's got. I'm certain he'll be doted on in his new place & he now has more trees & bushes than even he can pee on + a nice big garden too. And he took his football gear with him...
Handing over fosterlings definitely isn't good for your alcohol intake, I think I've already used up most of December's...!
