Thanks Romi and everyone who chipped in with support. I nearly put a post up today to see if anyone knows how to get engine oil off of a shiny gold pup! Dont ask how...something to do with a fairground.... Bess insisted it was Cassie's fault...Anyhoo mum seems to have sorted it. Probably used vanish and 60 degree wash with bleach and a fast spin.....just like she did with my best lacy disco tops in the 80s !

Thanks everyone for your helpful comments and advice Cassie is becoming a very loved and happy girl. She seems to be settling and learning something everyday, cannt believe the change in 4 weeks. Bess now jumps in to protect Cassie if she thinks another dog us being a pest and they follow each other around all the time, Bess is rather deaf and I thing she appreciates Cassie giving her notice when something is happening like Dad arriving home. She loves playing with plastic bottles till they are flattened and helps her Dad with the pruning by dragging the branches all around the garden !!!!! Will be posting some more pics soon.

It's brilliant to read how she is coming on Lyn. And perhaps Ed will mellow to her in time too when she matures. She is still a baby, and finding her legs. What a result.

Absolutely super to see Cassie looking so happy and at home now. She has had such an upsetting year but really looks like she has come into her own.
Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported us through what was a heartbreaking situation, especially Cass's new Mum and Dad who are forthcoming with pics and updates.......please keep them coming!
Thank heavens for SLR xxxx
