For such a young lad he is so good. Look how he is waiting for a treat. So glad he is staying nearby and so glad Bex decided she loved him too. He seems to have made quite a few friends already. So glad he is staying.

me too :-). thank you all for your care and kind words and the photos!!! Bex, i brought him home when he was just less than 10 weeks old. I have some pics if you are interested. He was born in wales and a really lovely lady looked after him until he was ready to leave his doggy mum. I gather that his doggy mum's owner was in prison hence the lady had him and the deal was that she could sell half of the pups for looking after mum and the litter. also, he used to hate water, didnt even want to go out in the rain and puddles were a no no - until it became warm. we live by a river and used to take him to the river daily and my little boy goes for a puddle. marley followed and became a water baby. hayling island must be his dream xxx

Smashing update and pics Bex. I'm so glad he won your heart - he did mine. I hope we'll all meet up again soon for a walkies. It'll be great to see him again. And you of course. And heart-healing wishes to you Iane - it's hard to let go, but you can tell how much he is already loved, and he will have a wonderful life. ;D ;D ;D

I did put Marley in General Chat as I think more people look in there. I just wanted people to know that he is now in his forever home and get him a few good wishes for his op.

great news that Marley has found his new home, hope he will be very happy, thinking of you Iane, can't imagine your heartbreak but you have been very brave in putting Marley's needs first, hope you will take some comfort in knowing SLR have found him the best home possible, and you can keep up to date on his progress

You did a good job Iane. He has turned out lovely and I am sure that Bex will love him to bits forever. And hopefully, we have made a lovely Rescue helper in Bex too. So win win for the Rescue. xxx

Cor, i can remember how to add photos after all this time. Sorry for the lack of updates only just got a new digi camera after my mum broke mine on her holiday. Have only recently come back to looking at SLR website as i found it upsetting as i still miss Tia so much - kept seeing Tia lookalikes and getting upset & then feeling really guilty cos i love Marley so much - emotions wish they could be switched off. Tia - Jan. 2010 George & Marley have become excellent friends - Marley has helped George's confidence grow as he is a little worrier. Marley is always happy to see his SLR friends Kevin & Clara. He loves the sand dunes and playing hide and chase with Marnie. He has lots of friends and love and cuddles and is a very happy boy - he still loves socks.

Lovely update Bex. Marley is looking sooooooo happy with all his friends. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I know you'll never forget your beautiful Tia. That is a lovely photo of her. I'm sure she's running free now at Rainbow Bridge. Give the gorgeous Marley a big hug from me.
