Mum is doing well, although she is not impressed with me reducing her to four meals a day. But she did go into the pups this afternoon and give them a feed. Last night, she refused to lie down with them, and I don't blame her. They all have teeth like little pyranahs now Isn't Jess beautiful.

She's outstanding, bless her. And look at that shiny coat . All credit to you Jenny for the love and care she and the pups have received, it clearly shows.

Jessie is one of the most gorgeous black, shiny lurcher's I have ever seen I don't blame her for not wanting to lay down to feed the poopies, look at the size of them

It's not just the teeth - I bet their claws make an impact as well!
Jessie is such a love - I hope she finds a happy home when the time is ready.

An update on Jessie. She is a lovely lovely doglet. Completely trusts us. Never stops wagging her tail when Michael comes home. She is starting to play and act more like a puppy now. She is just about in the last week or so of weaning the pups and just visits them for a couple of minutes at a time, but prefers to park herself on the sofa opposite the puppy pen and watch them. She sleeps upstairs and is quiet at night. Walks like a dream on the lead. We have almost cracked the house training. She goes to the patio doors, but if I am busy on the computer and have missed her asking she will do a poo by the door! But they are solid, thanks to Mr. Burns. Jessie only weighs 18 kilos after giving birth and feeding the pups for the last few weeks, so we need to get some weight on her. At least get her up to 22 kilos. She is gradually getting used to people coming into the house, and learns things quickly. She is very loyal and loves to come home after a walk. Although she has not been off-lead yet she doesn't attempt to run off when the front door is open or when she returns from a walk, but is eager to get indoors and find a comfy sofa. Jessie has oodles of love and cuddles to give, but be warned, she likes to get onto the bed in the mornings for a cuddle, and she insists on washing your face. Just a couple of piccies of Jessie's pup, and you can see how mum has put her all into the puppies. She needs some real tlc now and nothing less will do for her. Please don't apply for Jess if you are not around most of the day. Perhaps a retired couple would be best, and another dog around would be lovely.

Jessie looks amazing, thanks to your care Jenny! She'll make a fantastic and loyal pet to a very lucky owner. Those pups are massive, but so cute! Do you think Dad was a Lab?

Jessie is a little sweetheart and just a baby herself really. :-*Now she has had the pups and done her duty bless her she needs to have some lurcher fun and be given time to be the lovely dog that I can see she is. If I did not already have my quota of hounds I would the first on the applications for Jessie. Pups are lovely course but I have a soft spot for Jess. After all she has been though at such a young age she needs just the best of homes to come along for her.

Jessie is stunning She and Zena would make such a shiny, elegant matched pair. But my two brats are a full time job as it is, and the budget won't run to a third in the near future. There's a very lucky home out there waiting for Jessie

We have a changed little girlie here today. She is puppylike, playful, mischievous, loving, cuddly and not rushing down her dinner like there is no tomorrow. Jessie really needs to find a home with another dog around as she does like to be with the others. She likes to play ball and learns very quickly. She is so loyal and walks are such a pleasure with a dog that just trots next to you. We love her very much, but this old house is bursting.
