I think they have developed cold feet on getting any dog at the moment They lost their last dog a while back and we first took their application in September, and homechecked. The step to taking on another dog has been daunting for them, as I don't think any dog will absolutely live up to the love and devotion that they had Truffle has other interests in her, one now homechecked and one waiting for a homecheck.

I'm really sorry that this one didn't work out for Truffle but also sympathise with them. When you have lost a 'heart dog' it can take a long while to get over the grief

we understand too, it is such a big decision to decide whether or not to get "another dog" when you have lost the one who was perfect and your soulmate it takes alot of time before even thinking whether you are ready for it both practically and emotionally. We hope Truffle will find the right home soon and it is far better to wait and make sure it is the right home for both Truffle and her new family, good luck Truffle, glad to hear she is coming on so well and enjoying her stay with you Laurie, bet she is having a great time

Truffle is so lovely, I am sure she will be 'snuffled' soon. In the meantime, you get the lovely lady's company for a bit longer, Laurie!
