Yeah, behind us I joke, I joke. Ellie's doing really well. She slept soundly through the night, and was first to greet everyone this morning. On her morning walk she growled and grumbled at some new dogs she met, so she's still quite nervous of them. But she's coming out of her shell now, and her and Fionn are playing together I would say she doesn't get get on the furniture, because she's slept on the dog beds on the floor since we got her, but about an hour ago she crept onto one of the sofas Bless her. She's quite underweight, so we're trying to fatten her up a bit, which is difficult as she's a fussy eater. But she had Burns mixed with pasta and cheese yesterday which she liked, and today she had Burns with scrambled egg and cheese, which she loved and wolfed down! Picture time! This is her fast asleep after a long country walk yesterday And here she is with the boys (Ellie's on the right) The two hairies

How's Evie doing And yep we have had several enquiries, even up North and down deep South. well, am nicely placed in the midlands and am already home checked ;D Evie is just beautiful, so very laid back... still havent heard her bark, except the odd litle yap in her sleep (which she tends to do alot!) Charlie came home today, had his stitches out and is all healed nicely. They both had a quick run round the garden, and have both retired to their beds! (did that collar i sent turn up n the post?)

She sounds very very like my late Pagan. She was 28 inches to the shoulder and was quite lary with other dogs. Not from malice but more in excitement and over eagerness to play. I'm sure with love and a safe home she will settle nicely and besides these big hairy girls can entice you to love them so much that they get away with murder!!!!

To answer everyone, yes we are a bit tempted... But wow, it seems everyone wants this girl! Is it cause she's a deerhound? Because I'm sure some people applying for her could offer other gorgeous dogs like Skip, Baxter or Slim a home

Because I'm sure some people applying for her could offer other gorgeous dogs like Skip, Baxter or Slim a home I am in total agreement with you Rowan she is indeed a beautiful girl and she must be in much demand but as you say so many other dogs with SLR that deserve a chance and they do all become your 'heart' dogs as soon as you bond with them, no matter if they are a deerhound or not.
