Good luck beautiful lady! (Pinky is such a cutie....like a mini Milo!) Yep, but without the MOUTH It was great fun here whilst she stayed for the six weeks. My sympathies go to Elaine and Bruce, as I know what a little madam she can be, don't we Donna. Evie is now ready to meet a new mummy or daddy. We did have some interest, but they seem to have gone quiet, but there is one special lady keeping her eye on the thread.....

Oh, yes we remember it well The crate still hasn't recovered And before any one asks - no, it's not me I'd love Evie - she's stunning But one Flookie Princess is quite enough right now

We have just said bye bye to Evie to her forever home, Evie will be going to live with Ruth and her big black lurcher Charlie in Northants.
Evie, as ever, was very laid back about meeting Charlie. I can fully understand why, as after living with Pinky for a few weeks, she will probably be pleased for a bit of peace and quiet! Having said that Charlie was very pleased to meet Evie and at first she was a little hesitant and did not want to play outside, but when they all came inside she let him have a good sniff and she ended up waggy tailed.
It was very sad to see Evie leave us but we knew from the start that it was inevitable.
We will really miss Evie and her calming temperament and loving ways but we are sure that once she settles down with Ruth and Charlie she will be even more relaxed and happy with them than she has been with us.
Love and best wishes. Elaine and Bruce

Well my goodness what a little poppet Evie is, her foster Mummy and Daddy have done a fantastic job building this little lady up, both physically, and in confidence... she is the calmest little princess, even when Charlie has his nose well and truly wedged up her butt... she's told him she doesnt like it (she'll probably have to tell him a few more times though, as Charlie, is more than a bit thick!) She has been for a quick little tour of the village, and already wowed the heart an old lady, who thought she was so beautiful! I felt quite guilty taking Evie from her foster mummy and daddy, as they love her so very much... but would like to promise them, she will be so very loved here, and will definitely keep in touch with everyone!

Well, what a lovely day we've had today... Evie was a little star in the night, wanted a wee at 4am, went out, did her funky stuff, and came straight back in again. Charlie woke up a different doggy today, he has suddenly realised that Evie is here to stay, and she wont take any messing from him. They had breakfast... Charlie still hasnt realised that if he doesnt eat his food... there is now someone else there who most definitely will! and she did! We went for a lovely walk today, and both behaved perfectly... Evie is actually better on the lead than Charlie, and this afternoon, they have both just slept! (quite boring really!) although, when they woke up, Evie actually initiated a play session with Charlie in the garden, which he seemed quite surprised about!... and now theyre both fast asleep again!

Thanks for the update Ruthie. When you get another collar, can we have the SLR one back, as we are running low. I am sure that Evie is going to be going nowhere else.
