Tinks is lovely and had great fun at Hayling Island tearing around with the other dogs. She was so friendly and really well behaved, coming back when called and wagging her tail furiously at everyone! She is a super little doggie and I wish the timing had been different as we just canot take her before Christmas. With her good looks, lovely coat and gentle nature she will make an excellent family pet and, I suspect, she will be snapped up very quickly. A real joy to spend time with and I hope she stays in Hampshire so we can see her again!

Quick up date on Tinks .... I think she will definately need to go to a home with another K9 for a friend .... she does lack a bit of confidence, so needs to be shown the way ..... A Peter Pan for my Tinkerbell would be perfect Kx

She does look gorgeous and such wonderful photos. Cat friendly too, what a joy unlike our morning walk....two pairs of hands are essential we've decided for 3 un-cat friendly hounds. xx

She's the Northern Hemisphere sister of my Souther hemisphere black and white girl - right down to the look in her beautiful eyes. Best of luck home finding Fiona

Another update before bed ..... Tinks has been a bit bewildered for the last couple of days but today was a big turnaround..... She now sleeps happily in her crate - i went to asda today for 2 hours and no problems on my return .... She does need someone who is around most of the time, just to help her get some confidence. She is brilliant with my two other dogs, and still hasnt chased the cats at all... she is just looking to see if they can play..... she soon backs off when the cats tell her NO We went on a walk this morning with some friends and 11 other dogs (all different breeds) .... she is a bit startled when they charge at her, but soon settles quickly and runs like the wind playing ..... she is the most loyal foster i have ever had - she checks in with me all the time, looking at me to see if she's been good (and obviously looking for a treat !!)... what a star She is brilliant with the kids - not a bad bone in her body - and doesnt jump or pounce on them at all .... She came with me on the school run today and had lots of cuddles from children of all ages .... and lots of mums saying aaaahhhhhh alot !!!!!!!! she behaved impeccably. She will be such a lovely dog for the right home.... calm, submissive, gentle and loving. Right, off for some zzzzzzzz's Kx

Went on a lovely frosty walk this morning with Tinks and Indy and bumped into the lovely Alfie Poo Pants ....
They had great fun but did raise a few points - Indy and Alfie did bully little Tinks a bit, and bless her she is so submissive she didnt know how to tell them off !!! So after seeing this i would like to see her with a calmer dog, one that doesnt play too rough as she doesnt like it very much .... she loves to run with the others as fast as she can, but doesnt like to be picked on (naughty boys ).
Apart from that she is pretty damn perfect xxxx
I will post the pics from our walk on General Chat when i get a mo....

Tinks sounds like a little princess. I understand what your saying about gentle play though, my lurchers can't handle it when the JR's get to rough and choose to walk away (or Sammy tells them off). ;D Can't wait to see the pic's x

Another wonderful day with my Fairy Tinkerbell ..... She came out with me for 3 hours this morning (i am a dog walker) and she behaved perfectly with dogs small and large .... she is definately a princess who greets all dogs with grace I then hit Southampton for some Christmas shopping so had to leave her in a crate for 3 and a half hours, was a bit worried about her .... came back and she was absolutely fine. Very excited to see me but when she saw the bone i had brought her she settled in her bed for a good munch Going to try leaving her downstairs tonight with my boys without putting her in the crate i have a feeling she will be fine ... but will take pics if there is any carnage She is so sweet and gentle.... she has perfect manners but being a lurcher ABSOLUTELY LOVES FOOD !!!!!!!! you have to be careful what you leave out.... she is a class act at counter surfing I must stress how absolutely brilliant she is with cats and kids .... i cant fault her at all... she just loves everyone and everything and will make someone the best pet ever ..... Off to Portsmouth tomorrow for a Meet and Greet so will post pics on my return .... i will put her 'I need a home' coat on her and hopefully she will get some interest. As i type she is snuggled next to me with her chin on my lap .... i love this little girlie so much .... Kx

Tinks sounds like a perfect Angel... I really hope our home-check is positive... oh, I hope we get a chance to meet her before someone expresses great interest in her on the Meet and Greet tomorrow (I just know she'll have a lot of admirers)!
Just a thought, but where in Portsmouth are you Meeting and Greeting? Maybe we can plan a trip to the coast and say 'hello' at the same time?

Sorry Georges Mum, but the meet and greet was yesterday at Pets at Home .... Just to let you know, Tinks now sleeps uncrated in the lounge with my boys at night and is a perfect angel - last night there was a big box of Celebrations out (i forgot to put away) and it is still there this morning This girlie greeted everyone with a wagging tail at the M&G yesterday. She was very well behaved, and for an 8 month old puppy thats pretty unusual !!! Have a look in General Chat at the photo's - under Esme's appeal .... Kx

Tinks is being such a good girlie - she has settled well into a bustling family life ... is very very good with the kids and shares her dinner with the cats... She is obviously quite lively in the mornings (due to her age) and i would love to see her go somewhere where the owners can take her for a run every morning ... she absolutely loves running with Indy, they dont stop for a breath !!! This obviously tires her out nicely and then she is quite happy snuggled on the sofa ... She hasnt chewed anything in the house at all, she loves her doggy toys .... the only thing she chews is the duvet in her crate !! doesnt matter what you put in there, she kills it !!!! he he She is going to the vets in the morning to have her tubes tied ... will let you know how it went when i pick her up at 2pm..... 8 month old with a bucket on her head is gonna be fun bruised legs springs to mind ..... Kx

All the best for tomorrow Kate. You're doing a great job. We really need to find her prince charming so that she has a friend to live with.

We met little Tinks on Saturday's "Meet and Greet"........ Sie is a little darling and loved all the fuss she was getting from the public. ;D We watched her and I think you are right, Kate, she would definitely benefit in a home with another doggie for companionship as she appears to be a little insecure, but what a gorgeous girl she is! Viviane. X Thinking of little Tinks and hope her op goes well.........
