Now that is just being particularly CLEVER ..... i could do with some of that - but knowing my two and the fosters they would bring it into the lounge like a piece of carpet !!!!!!!!

My poor boy had his operations and micropchip today, and he is really out of it. He came out to greet me when I got in from work with his head down and no waggle from that very long tail he has.... He has slept all afternoon and has gone back off to sleep know that he has seen me... My jack russell boy was up and running about by the evening of his castration, it really shows you that different breeds and size dogs deal with it differently... I am off to hug him and try to make him feel a little better. Gilly x

I forgot to mention that my vets, Companion Care Portsmouth, gave SLR 20% discount off the castration and microchipping cost today... I think that is just fantastic ;D

Our gorgeous Scruff had a slow start this morning and was still quite vocal when getting up and moving around.... But as the day has gone on he has started to cheer up and play with his toys again. I think my Roxy is missing the playful side of Scruff We went out for a couple of short walks today (god isn't it cold), on the second walk there was a carrier bag blowing down the road behind us and Ollie was spooked but Scruff didn't care at all even when it went between his leg Pic's of Scruff showing of his new range of clothing ;D Look at that face.... How gorgeous..

What a stunner - those eyes are liquid. Well done for getting him through the op Gilly. Kate, what are you waiting for??? He is such a perfect match for Indy!!
I wish I had a big enough house for all these hounds - they are all so lovely ( I am third in queue behind Kate and Karla!)

Update on the lovely Scruff... After a long walk yesterday and today we left Scruff in doors on his own with the other dogs... He was perfect and just played with his toys (his future home must have lots of toys as he is one big playful puppy). ;D ;D We left him for about an hour and on returning he was fast asleep on his bed...... I MUST NOT FAIL!!!

It's official, Scruff and my Ollie are best friends ;D ;D ;D
They play together, sleep together, clean each other and hug....
I can honestly say that Scruff has given Ollie the confidence he needed, Sammy the kindness to prove he wont get hurt and the Jack's a young playmate for Christmas.
Thank you SLR for sending Scruff to us, who ever gets him will be a very lucky family.
Love Gilly x x

Well what a perfect Christmas we have had, Scruff has had such good fun, playing with all the toys and the home made treats. ;D It was also so special because it was our first Christmas with Ollie and Sammy We went out to Hayling beach Christmas morning and again today. We let Scruff off to see what his recall was like... PERFECT ;D ;D, god he is also very fast, which Sammy loved as he chased Scruff solid for about 15 mins, bless him as he is a little unfit ;D He was so happy to be playing off lead, and chasing anything that would run. Scruff ran into the sea chasing one of the jacks, mixed well with all doggies he met... He is perfect When we got home from the beach on Christmas Day we went out for 3.5hrs for dinner and the dogs were great, they slept from when we left until we got home ;D ;D We have lot's of pic's and videos to post later. The other report is that we don't think that Scruff is cat friendly, he does get very excited when he sees a cat and he has got a high chase instinct. I think the perfect home for Scruff would be a family with no cat's, but defo with other dog/s. Also because of his size and age he can play quite rough. ;D
