Bobby came in via holding kennels in Berkshire. Found by a kindly lady walking her own dogs, he tagged along to her house. He is a super little chap, clean indoors and very respectful of the foster family bitches. Bobby will be neutered shortly. His character will unfold in the next few days, but early observations are that he is a calm little man.

Ooo sorry everyone. Been flat out today being a Birthday girl!!! Well, what have I learnt about Bobby so far?? He's SO cute. He litterally smiles at you when he catches your eye. He's VERY food orientated, and eats like every meal is his last, but thats understandable. Saying that though, you can stroke him, walk round him, even take his owl away, with absolutley NO aggression what so ever. He counter surfs with style! But a quick 'ahah' and he's down. He loves my girls, and is starting to play in fits and starts with them. He has a split second where he loses it, and lets go, plays like a real pup, then snaps out of it and almost appologises for being daft. He walks beautifuly out. Is slightly timid meeting other dogs, but wags non the less, just a bit crouched down. He loves the kids, and pays more attention to them than me. Sleeps well in his crate, after a little whine you just give him a quick 'quiet' and he's silent. He gave me a lovely welcome home tonight, he was so pleased to see us, squeeking and wagging so much he early fell over. I'm SO looking forward to seeing this lads personality come out. I can tell I'm only seeing 20% so far I'm going to get snap happy tonight, so piccies will be following shortly

That's some strange diet you've got him on there then Helen!! Sorry I had to laugh at the thought of Bobby feeding on OWLS!! (Even the owls look worried!)

Bobby is a super little chap, I remember as a child waking the royal mile to see greyfriars bobbys statue only to find out dad had us walking the wrong way so we had to tromp all the way back again to find him lol

Quick update on the little lad. He's settling into family life extremely well. He's fantastic with my children, the only thing you have to watch is when they're eating. He's still SO hungry, he will try and steal off their plate. Nothin nasty in it at all, he is just still so amazed that he's going to get another meal He's not fussed about my dogs at all, although he does treat them with very good manners, so he'd be quite happy as an only dog I'd think. He's so devoted to humans, why after what he's been throgh I do not know, but thats why these dogs are so special. He still cowars down if he thinks he's in trouble, and looks very puzzled when he doesn't get a smack . But this is happening less and less. He's started to be cheeky too. He'll bound up to me on the sofa, bat my foot with his paw and bound off. He's so adorable. Anyway, I went shopping today, and brought him back a chew. I reckon he's quite impressed, what do you think? He's off to be neutered tomorrow. After recent events I'm a little nervous for him, so if you wouldn't mind keeping in your thoughts??
