Not sure if this one is going to be up for rehoming after the reception that he gave Dave his Foster Dad, and the look Dave gave him. But he is a dog needing a home, and Dave has taken him on board. All we can say is - "watch this space". Bilbo was found on common coursing ground in Essex. He has a number of scars and new lacerations that can only be incurred through coursing. He also has a split lip that has newly knitted. Poor lad has been through the wars. He is only around 18 months old. The holding kennels that we work closely with have had him for his statutory 7 days, but by his body language of the photos that we received, he was needing to be out. Thank you Dave for coming forward to take him on. Here are some photos of the lad. He may have some English bull terrier in a couple of generations back, and at times today he resembled the face of a retriever pup. But he is a lovely lad and really responded to kindness and loved a cuddle. And did that tail stop wagging. No... He travels well and when he gets some weight on him he will be one lovely boy. Love you Bilbo.xx Dave and Bilbo No harm was done in this attempted . The split lip I love this little lad

In my bed ZZZzzzzz Good morning all its 5am I have just been awoken up by a floury off licks to the face he he. I think bilbo was trying to tell me something, so i gets up and has a look around the flat for any accidental misshapes ie poos, wees ect no sign of any, bilbo was standing by the back door so i let him out and he has a quick sniff around and does his business. He comes back in, straight on the couch gone back to sleep. What a good boy so far. Time for a couple a cups of tea me thinks. Dave

Yep you can come round any time. Your not going to believe this, took bilbo for a short walk on the way back i poped into a high fenced fairly large compound about 3 mins from where i live gone in there closed the gate. Let bilbo off the lead. I had a new ball with me i started to engage with bilbo within 5ins i had him fech the ball back. We were in there about 40 mins overal and he carried his ball half way home. I would say an exilant start to his training. PS he dont like cats, loves other dogs and humans. Dave.
