Bruce had his final jabs today and was microchipped - he cried like a big baby !!!!! bless him.... The vet commented on how much better he looks since he first saw him 4 weeks ago .... his coat is now so shiny and his eyes are bright and alert .... He has just had some chicken as a treat for trying to be brave !!!!!!!! just waiting for the farts ...........

He is looking absolutely stunning Kate. Well done. Not so hard fostering is it, but the letting go wrenches you.. Do you want me to send Kleenex.

He is a popular fellow. He has two other families standing in the wings, who would be equally as good for him and crossing their fingers too.

Unfortunatley Bruce is a big boy and as lovely as Jacqueline is, she has back problems which may result in further problems if she were knocked over. Bruce is a big boy and a heavy boy, but a good boy; but all round we, and Jacqueline, thought it not a risk taker for her to rehome him.
Jacqueline was very upset at not being able to rehome him, but Bruce will be fine.

... jacqueline was such a lovely lady and i am sure she will provide a lovely home for a smaller lurcher - but alas not Bruce Almightly...
Please remember that he is the size of a greyhound and a lot thicker set, he is only young so can pull when excited, but most of the time he is a gentle giant.
I know there are other people interested in Bruce and i feel that jacqueline made the right decision for her .... and just think, i get to keep the gorgeous boy a bit longer ;D

'Tis a shame that things didn't work out for Jacqueline & Bruce, but any adoption has to be absolutely right for all concerned, & I'm sure we'll be able to unite her with her ideal canine companion.

Well, Kerry and her husband have been to visit Brucey this morning ... and guess what, they loved him (knew they would)... and no allergic reactions .... They have now reserved him and are bringing their 9 year old son down in the morning to meet him (its a surprise!!). They are wonderful people and i feel it is definately the right home for my gorgeous boy .... i will be so sad to see him go but at the same time so pleased he will be living with such a lovely family ... So, last night with the lumox .... have a feeling he will be on my bed tonight
