It was beginning to dome on me ................. (see my reply No. 147 on 10. March): "REALLY, Jenny??? Come on, then, and let's hear what you've got to say......." ;D Sooo very pleased for baby Milo who found his forever home AGES ago already............. However, it also took your foster mum AGES to realise that you were MEANT for for each other................ Viviane. X PS: And yes, Jenny, you ARE a "dog collector!!!" ;D ;D

Okay, okay. We have had Milo for six months now! We tried and tried to get him a home. But as lovely as Milo is he does have a few issues, namely the barking and needing the other dogs The hatred of cats and squirrels and his endless need to be vocal when he wants something. We hedged our bets on one last try for a special home and that didn't materialize. Milo is a very special lad, and you all know that we always take the rejects. Our house is a mismatch of personalities, and I think that John put it quite eloquently when he described each and every one of them. They all have their little foibles, all have their challenges, but all have a lot to give and particularly a lot of love. Milo now considers this as home. He loves his morning cuddles on the bed, something we have to wake up 10 minutes early to do each morning. He loves to do squirrel watch He loves Tag and the girls. And Miss Elly has now accepted him fully into this mad house. What am I supposed to do? I am not a collector, but a recycler. I take on the ones that we know will bounce and somehow they fit into this misfit environment. Anyone who has visited here knows that they are all mad, bar one! Mim is my sanity. My love and my life and it is because Mim takes them all in and accepts them that we are able to take in these oddballs. So, Milo, my love, as he has become to be is now Milo Symmons. The house is full. Only fosters from now on, and Barney and I have devised a system for making sure that these lovely dogs do not get too settled from now on. I love him. I love them all. HE IS a work in progress, but he is our work in progress. xxxxx

Well finally got the chance to get on pc, since kids have been organising their social life for the forthcoming Easter hols!! All we in this household can say is YIPPPPEEEE!!!! What would life be without the big baby hound to visit & snuggle & play with? Badger loves the paws off him. They are like cousins, they get on sooo well. Congratulations guys!!! Love to you all. Big hug Mummy Chook from Badger for keeping his partner in crime safely in our lives. xxxx
