Practising bin-raiding yesterday: In the garden this morning: Resting prior to having the shower I hadn’t warned him to expect: With the chew he received for being a good boy in the shower: With his jumper on after he’d dried off:
And the photos will follow ;D You're like my Lurchers at meal & walk times Mummy Chook - altogether too impatient! ;D ;D ;D

Lovely pictures, Barney, and just look at the last one: his eyes really show that he still can't believe that somebody is so very kind to him............... Live has changed for the better for you, little boy, for good. Viviane. X

I noticed when I dropped him off Barney that his elbows at the front were weak. In one of those piccies they seem to stick out. Might be worth asking anil to check that out. Poor mite, lack of good food and exercise probably. He looks a milliion times happier just in his stance.

Yup - when he first arrived I was sure he'd be bringing an awful lot of baggage with him, but amazingly after the way he's obviously been treated that has proved not to be the case.

I think his improvement in a short space of time is testament to the good nature of you and your pack making him feel comfortable

... & he will soon learn what it is to be loved & to trust in human kind again well judging by what we've seen in Ajax's behaviour that might not be the case too soon, Bailey also being quite nervous and a Saluki. Ajax would never trust a 'human' again, he might trust us now and some other dog-people, but he won't be fooled in being approached and touched by anyone. but at least it seems that poor Bailey has not resorted to aggression yet. Hopefully Winnie will mother him and protect him a bit Edited: sorry I sound so grumpy, of course I hope Bailey will be happy again SOON

I truly doubt if he ever will Simona: the lad doesn't appear to have a bad bone in his body, & has shown not the slightest sign of any aggressive tendency.
Bailey was absolutely fine with Keith when he popped in for a cuppa this evening.
