Mum and Dad are super happy that he's finally found the confidence to go for a cuddle on the sofa π Also FYI - Monty may be joining us on the Kent walk!

Wow - just went to page 1 to remind me about Monty. Instead of that skinny little scrap he's a big, healthy boy now enjoying the good things in life. Excellent - well done to his family.

He's also still just as cheeky - several tea coasters, his bed, mum's glasses (!) and the watering system are just a few of the items that have fallen victim to Monty Haha! π a bucket is now a permanent feature in the middle of the lawn with a big hole under it too! They wouldn't be without him though! He loves having his fur brushed and loves his teeth being brushed even more (because he knows he gets a dentastix after). He's still very nervous of people he doesn't know, but people he is familiar with get greeted with a waggy tail and hand licks! He's so gorgeous and gets a lot of attention out and about from admirers (much to his dislike!). But he is getting there slowly but surely π mum and dad are ever grateful to SLR and Sue and Dave for rescuing him!

Itβs hard to imagine the sad state he was in when he first came in to SLR. The transformation is amazing, thanks to the love and care heβs had from you all. Thanks for the update. Itβs always lovely to hear how well they are doing.

Brilliant to see him chilling out on the sofa! That took a while though - he was on ours within the first month! He looks really good condition, well done to Alan and Helen, so pleased for him.

Brilliant to see him chilling out on the sofa! That took a while though - he was on ours within the first month!Β He looks really good condition, well done to Alan and Helen, Β so pleased for him. We think he wasn't sure of the leather, or Sam usually takes all the space haha. He was up on the caravan sofas straight away (he has regular trips to Cornwall to stay in the caravan!). Mum and Dad are definitely coming to the Kent walk now - not sure how far away you are?...I'm sure Monty would love to see you! π

Perhaps we'll be able to join one next year, we're about an hour away from Kent. Great that you've joined the forum by the way!
