This story has made me cry. my nan past away on Tuesday she was in a home the last year as her dementia got quite bad. Very hard for poor Freya and his family very sad. He probably forgot he had fed her and fed her more than twice my nan did this with my mums dog bless her. I hope she finds a lovely home. She deserves it for being such a great friend to her elderly owner. Xxxxxx
Freya has now had a couple of walks out with us now. She pulled a bit on her lead at first but soon settled down watching what the other dog were doing. She didn't do any toilets on the walk but on return home went straight in the garden. At the vets today to get her weighed, check her spaying scar and vaccinated if all well. She loves to play with the other dogs in the garden and if she gets too over the top they will put her in her place. Freya is a sweet girlie and loves your company, she will lay in her bed and sleep when she has worn herself out and our four tend to sleep a lot also. No aggression with food or with our dogs. She loves to play with her toys or dragging her bed around the sitting room. She has settled better at night and sleeps well as long as she knows where you are.
We feel Freya would be equally happy as just a dog on her own or with a playmate and to have someone around most of the time.
Her Vet visit today went very well, spay scar healing nicely and dissolving stitches, so no need to have them removed. Heart good, no ear mites, her vaccinations done and not a peep out of her. Her booster is at end April. The Vet said she was a very healthy girlie. No trouble in the car and home to greet our bunch. As you can see by the video above, she loves to play, but equally will sit quiet on the sofa when she has a lap to sit by. Freya has settled very well and loves to greet any visitors. Have taught her how to sit for treats and she will need a little more training for the few other commands. All in all a delightful girlie, and although our home is small, with now five it can get quite crowded, but we are pleased to have her here.
Freya continues to blossom. We think she likes to think she is in charge and is always the first in line for her food or treats, but we are making her wait her turn She loves to play with toys and a ball and will charge around the garden in a circle until she has worn herself out. Our 4 being older don't do that anymore, but they will have racey chasy with her for a while. She sleeps well at night and is always pleased to see you in the morning. She has found a couple of old plastic flower pots in the garden that she chases when the wind takes them. We do make sure to pick them up though in case she decides to chew them and we don't want any plastic going down her throat LOL.
