I really hope the sleepover goes well. We met Harley when he broke his leg and his mum borrowed our crate for a while. He's the most gorgeous boy, with a lovely Tin Tin quiff on the top of his head. If I coulda, I woulda!

Well his hopefully adoptive mum is a friend of mine (in fact it was she who foisted Reggie on us!) and I can tell you all she is in love. And he seems to have slotted in really easily!

Harley arrived on Saturday and is settling in nicely, although still nervous of his new surroundings. He's been enjoying lovely walks here in the New Forest. He is such a sweet and gentle boy. Will post updates on his progress.

Great news. Maybe when he's settled in and gained more confidence we might see him on some of the SLR walks.

This lovely looking lad isn't far from me & I'm looking forward to seeing him soon. Paws crossed he settles in well. You'll love him Sal...Andrew was a bit smitten (and that doesn't happen too often!). You're not wrong Loz. I am soooo in love with Harley he is just so adorable and gentle and affectionate and those eyes just melt your heart He greeted me with a waggy tail, raising his paw, lots of kisses and when I knelt down to be nearer he backed on to my legs and sat on my lap! To be perfectly honest looking in to his eyes had me welling up, I don't know why, there's just something special about him. Some while ago when we were undecided about going up to four dogs we looked at Harley's thread a few times and ummed and ahhed about what to do. If we'd met him I'm know certain we'd have been filling in an application for him. It's no wonder Sue is smitten with him. I got a few pics but they don't do him justice. The light was fading so they're not great but he can be a little jumpy so I didn't like to startle him with the flash. He was more interested in having kisses and cuddles and getting too close to the camera than posing. Love his tufty mohican and beard and wispy ears but it's those eyes ...
See you again soon lovely boy for a walk

Oh wow, he is gorgeous! The previous pics don't do him justice. Well done Sal for capturing him beautifully. I'm so pleased he's found his perfect home down here with the Hants and Dorset Posse.

thank you so much Sal for getting those photos. As no news is good news, and MC has had no news, I am expecting the email that says he is staying? xx

Harley will be coming back into the fold. Sue's Collie is just not accepting the situation in a one to one way, and Harley is being dominated. This is not good for a dog that already has lack of confidence. We feel so sorry for Sue as she has waited so long to try this, but we have to put the dogs first.

What a shame but no good if the dogs aren't happy.

Harley is here with us and enjoying life with a nutty Phoebe to chase around the garden. She is in her element with a soft and playful boy. They haven't stopped since he arrived. Kali has joined in the fun too so there's three lolling tongues and hardly a blade of grass left on the lawn and more mud streaked across the floor than carpet but hey ho it great to see them having fun.
I've taken some piccies so they'll be along later. Harley is currently tucking in to a Kong while Phoebs is almost asleep on her feet but refusing to give in.
MC or Sue do you know when his annual vaccine and tick/flea etc. treatment and wormers are due?
