Comet is going to the vet on Monday. He had some rogue eyelashes removed when he was neutered. We knew they would grow back and would then need to be removed more permanently by an eye specialist. After eight months we are hoping all the rogue eyelashes have grown back. The vet will find out how many need to be removed and to have their growing cells killed off when she assesses him on Monday. She will also decide what is the best way to do it. I am hoping for electrolysis as being the least invasive. With any luck he should be "good to go" at about the same time as Kerry and Steffan finish their garden fence, not a job I envy them with the rain we are having. Comet on one of our rambles this week being look-out:

Lovely updates ladies. Hopefully we can finally remedy the eyelash syndrome so that Comet is ready for his new home. x

Good luck for Monday Comet, eye lashes are so over-rated...I'm always pulling mine out...they're really irritating!!!

Steffan is taking a red-eye flight back from his week in USA, arriving tomorrow (Sat) morning. Then after a small rest and a cuppa he will be out with me assembling 200m of 5ft game fence. Poor fella! Our intention is to install a Comet proof fence that is not too labour or equipment intensive. As two "not very handy on the DIY-front" individuals who struggle to change a light bulb without having to call an electrician....it should be an interesting 2-days. Fingers crossed that any rain on Sat & Sun is only light and not the bothersome stuff we've had these past few days

Almost Comet proof. Thanks very much to Dave (aka littlealfie) who popped along for a few hours today. The extra pair of hands really helped to fast track the project!

Brilliant. I am sure Comet will really appreciate all the safe open space he is going to enjoy with Snoop, his new playmate.
