Comet and his giant rope toy: And showing off his retrieving skills:(click on the picture): He is always very playful and enthusiastic about anything new. Now most of the workmen have departed and life here is getting back to normal, I am looking forward to having our play/training sessions again. Comet is very quick at remembering cues and has quite a large vocabulary just from picking up habitual phrases like: (go) "downstairs/upstairs", "wait", "off" (the sofa), "ok" (you can now do whatever I stopped you doing like getting out of the car), and of course "food", nothing like this last one to get everybody's 100% attention!

He has been here just over 6 months now, he has no behavioural problems, is very affectionate and playful and absolutely no trouble wherever you take him. There must be a hound lover somewhere for him. It is just so sad that nobody wants him.

I can't understand why he's not been snapped up. He's such a handsome boy and no behaviour issues so he's going to be the perfect dog for someone out there. We just need them to come here and find him!!!

Comet is really coming on nicely. I also cannot understand why he hasn't found a forever home yet.

Shhhhh, don't tell Loz, but I'm going to swap Scruff for Greta on the walk on sunday. I'd love a scruffy one that doesn't bark It's @r$e off whenever I move 2ft away from it.

I simply cannot understand why this boy hasn't been snapped up already. Someone is missing out on this perfect hound.

Comet, Sophie, Dylan and myself went on the Farley Mount SLR walk last week-end. Comet walked quietly with me and Dylan on the lead while Sophie mooched around. He was delighted to be able to say hello to so many dogs and lay down quietly behind my chair in the pub afterwards while we were having lunch. No photos from me I am afraid as Neil was away and I had my hands full!

He really is the most gorgeous hound. There must be a sofa for him somewhere.

He is the only dog we have had to lie this way. It does look far from comfortable with his tummy squashed on the top of the sofa but it obviously suits him and he often does it!
