Soppy date. I'm sure you'll have a lot more fun with her. She's a sweetie and glad we'll still see her around

You are an old softie Barney, but I am sure its the right thing for both of you it was meant to be thats why she is still with you and the right home did not come along because she was in the right home all the time lucky Winnie, and as you said after six months it would be such a wrench for you both to part. Going by that does that mean to say that Jenny will end up with Tag ;D ;D

Bless you both! Well done on being such an abject failure at the fostering lark, I'm sure Winnie is delighted!

I know she is gorgeous I saw her in the flesh. Barney if she hadn't given that whine when you went back to your car we could still be there. If you were not going to keep her I would have suggested me having her and Bonnie. But she is for you. Be happy and visit Bonnie, Sam and me again. We don't choose them - they choose us and when they get right it is forever. Love Joy XXX

I haven't had you bloody homechecked yet Barnacles!! The way she looks at you mate, she couldn't be anywhere else. And no.no.no.no.no. Jean. Mr. Tag is still looking. I trip over dogs going to the loo at night, I fall over dogs trying to answer the phone before it stops, and I get trampled by dogs when the doorbell goes!!! Mr. Tag, as lovely as he is, has to find his own forever home. I will be putting him on ebay soon!!!! Seriously, With Miss Elly doing so well, for us to keep Tag would mean 5 permanent dogs in the house, and with the extra 1 in Willow this last two weeks, it has been hard work. I love him to bits, and I know my heart will break when he does find his forever home. It will have to be a special one. For, every day he is growing into one special dog. He is loving, is intelligent and fun. He has a lot of giving to offer the right home.

Thank you so much folks for all your kind thoughts, support & good wishes, they really do mean a great deal to me.
For once in my life I’m content that I’ve made a correct decision – Winnie & I have come a long way with each other, & at the end of the day it just seemed so right that we should complete the journey together.

I am not sure its the same dog but did somebody from SLR ever ring Maldon council about her in January and she was in season and had been put in a local kennels

No, she came through holding kennels locally. They had had her a few weeks and she was so upset in kennels. Barney and I went together to get her and she had the blankest expression, so soulful. She has changed so so much. The Winnie we brought home is not the Winnie you will meet. She is a little Princess now, actually a little Mummy to all foster dogs.
