Lovely photos Jenny. That little stroll wore her out very nicely for the morning She has since had a lovely bomb round the garden which has worn her out again!! She had quite a good first night which surprised me. She whinged for a few minutes and then settled then whinged a bit round about 3ish but settled nicely until I got up at about 6.45. Not bad!! No accidents indoors today yet but I'm taking her out the garden on waking, after feeding and about every hour in between. Not a lot of time for housework - what a shame! She is desperately trying to make friends with Alice and Archie. Not much luck at the moment but it's very early days yet. She is one really sweet little girl and is going to become a very loving companion for some lucky person

She went to see Anil tonight for her microchip. She is very diddy, around 7.3 kilos, so is around a kilo or bit more underweight. Otherwise looking good. She was a poppet and just stood still for him. Judy and Norma arrived as I left the surgery and took her home again. She was pleased to see them. I took a few piccies of her beating up Ronnie this afternoon. They had a lovely gentle play-fight and she even took Ripley's chewie out of his mouth. At one point I had Esme, Tag, Anna, Ronnie and Ripley in the office. Too much.

Thanks so much for taking her for us Jenny. Much appreciated. Forgot to add on my earlier post that she travels very well for a youngster. When I took her out first thing this morning she was pretty scared of the car starting but once on the move she was fine and has been so since.

Just a very quick update on this lovely little girlie. She is doing really well and is settling in nicely. Seems to have calmed down a bit now! She has had some lovely walks over the weekend and has behaved very well. We let her off on a very safe big meadow and she had a ball trying to keep up with our two. Came back to us very well. My sister and hubby have been here for the weekend with their lurcher who was a bit wary of her but they all got on nicely. Archie still doesn't like her. He's such a grump with pups. Poor boy has had his muzzle on and off most of the weekend. Don't want any accidents. Earlier I said she travels well. She now starts the journey nice and quiet then starts singing, then goes quiet again. We just ignore this and I'm sure given time she will be fine. Alice was just the same in the car when she was a pup. Almost clean and dry during the day apart from when I miss the signs but get your wellies out when you come down in the morning!!! She cries initially when we go to bed, last night was the longest, for about 10 minutes but after that she slept all night.
She is an absolute delight xx

Doing what greyhounds do best..... Very good night last night. She whinged for about 2 minutes, settled down and not a peep out of her till we got up this morning. She has now learned how to jump on the settee!! She loves it up there as she can now snuggle up to Alice.

Went for a lovely walk with Jenny and gang this morning. She just loves all the other dogs even though she got rolled a few times!! She had a very good night once again, just a small wimper then off to sleep till 6.30 this morning. Had to go out shopping so we left her snuggled up with Alice. We came back to NO accidents and NO damage!! Brilliant for such a youngster.
She will need time and patience when lead walking near traffic. She puts the brakes on and won't budge. If it ever stops raining here I'll do what I did with Alice when she was only about 8 weeks old. I'll take her down the bottom of the lane and sit at the bus stop and let her get used to the traffic going passed.
Anna is only our second foster but it amazes me how these little poppets so quickly adapt to a new life.
