Coco was rescued by her current owner when she was 6 months old. A travellers pup she was emaciated and full of worms and fleas. Life was lovely for her mum and the family until their old dog died and they got a new dog. Coco can be dominant, can be aggressive to other dogs and even though saluki x does display the collie snap when she can't get at her target. This has caused problems with her and her sister Shar Pei, and Coco is not happy. Reluctantly her owner has decided that Coco would be happier as an only dog and with a family who were grown up and didn't need to go out onto the normal streets for walks. She is very loving and obedient indoors, but does not have recall, so has not been off-lead much in her 5 years. She has not socialized and so is prone to bark and lunge at other dogs when she is out walking. The ideal home for Coco would be someone with a good sized garden, at least an acre, who doesn't need to go into town or walk streets with her and who doesn't have cats around or nearby, which make her life a misery. Coco is affectionate, isn't destructive and can be left easily. She is vaxed and neutered. If you think that you can offer Coco the home that she is longing for please get in touch. We homecheck all prospective adopters, and we do not re-home further than 200 miles of base in Essex

Have any of the forum met her? It may help if there were some 'fun' photos and recent news of her? The sort that fosters put up?

Good idea Jane, Coca needs a bit of a positive marketing campaign to help her find a new home. I hope I am not talking out of turn but even a non-socialized dog can get a lot better with clicker training, I speak from experience. So as long as you are willing to put the effort she will be worth it. Good luck Coca and we wait for more pictures
