Oh tears of joy here but then I am a total sap.... Rachel I'm thrilled that she's come to live with you (and a little delighted that I'll get to meet her on walks now ) She's looks so so happy with Millie already but then who would as Millie is an absolute sweetheart. I wish you all the best with your new addition - and big hugs to Jayne for letting her go

All is quiet at the mo!! Quiet night from Ginny , slept in cage in our bedroom, it was Millie that took a while to settle! Had an incident with Ginny yesterday when we bumped into my friend with her dog and Ginny started barking, growling and baring her teeth (as well as wagging tail!!), took sometime to get her to calm down, Jayne had warned me, so it wasn't totally unexpected. Her collar was a bit loose and came off with lead at one point, but when I called her she came straight to me so I was pleased with that reaction . Collar duly tightened!! A little bit restless at times yesterday evening, but as soon as I got up to see if she needed to go out to garden, she went straight to the door where her food is kept!! Going to take them both to Manor Farm today as they have a secure field so I can let Ginny off, and Romi is meeting us hopefully with her 3 so I would like to gauge Ginny's reaction when she if off lead with other dogs. Expect more photos later today!

I'm sure her aggression on the lead is fear based. As she meets more friendly dogs who don't react and gets some off-lead fun with friendly dogs she will get better. Jayne has done a fantastic job with her. Massive thanks and hugs to you Jayne. Looking forward to the piccies.

Thanks for the update on Ginny Rachel, I had been wondering how you all were. So glad Ginny seems to be settling with you I do hope your Manor Farm outing goes well today. A lovely secure place to let Ginny run around, and with Romi's three gentle giants there to take care of her it'll be a good opportunity to give little Ginny a chance to meet some other, off-lead hairies. Extra special cuddles from me to Millie please - she must wonder what's going on Look forward to some photos of today's expedition

Just to say another successful walk with Ginny this evening, much better with other dogs around when she is off the lead, and never strays very far away, her and Millie chased up and down woodland paths and played chase in the fields, wish we had taken our camcorder. Below is the results of today, 2 tired but hopefully happy girls ;D:

That's great news! I had no idea they were found in Hartley Witney, that's just up the road from me.

What a fantastic new chapter in Ginny's story. You must be so delighted Rachel and Millie looks totally in love with her new sister. Some lovely pics and so pleased all went well at Manor Farm today. Sometimes the odd leap of faith (ie letting them off lead) is just what is needed for confidence building, so well done!
Really looking forward to meeting you and Millie again and to meet the lovely Ginny.
Rosie and Charlie send big licks.
Sally x
