Bath and vet on the same day? Poor love! Yup - beneath my soft exterior I'm really wicked! She was as good as gold at the vets, as she has been all day, (we'll conveniently forget the countersurfing & bin raiding ).
This cannot be denied! ;D

An educated guess would be a Greyhound, such as my other two failed fosters.

I'm pleased for you Barney, I'm sure Seamus will approve of such a pretty girl on his sofa. Thanks Bernice - she has the same gentle temperament as the big feller, (& the same intense dislike of being showered! :, - I'm sure they'd have hit it off.

Congratulations on failing again, who could blame you, Annie is stunning. Thanks Ann - I was only doing my duty: after all, we couldn't possibly have the Chairman of a Lurcher rescue organisation without a Lurcher to call his own!

Spoilsport!
Yes indeed! & we're very fortunate to have many members similarly endowed.

Whilst preparing my dinner last night I cooked a large quantity of pasta for the hounds' post-exercise meal this morning.
I left it in the saucepan, with lid firmly on, at the back of the cooker. 'Firmly on?' - obviously not firmly enough to deter Annie from making a successful bid to sample the pasta a couple of minutes ago.
I heard a noise from the kitchen, & knew it was Annie, but thought she was bin raiding - wrong! When I arrived on the scene she was up on her hind legs, quite comfortably reaching the saucepan, (whose lid was by now on the floor), & sampling part of today's breakfast menu.
A rethink about food security in the home-kennel is obviously required! ;D ;D ;D
