You did a wonderful with little Maisie Nina, I did say to Jenny when I move I would not mind fostering but if Belle is anything to go by I will be crap at the job. And she is right about foster dogs remember you, I went on a walk with Paula the other day and she has Lucy she was fostered by John and Viv and Paula said she greets them like long lost friends. So even though you have let Maisie go to a lovely new home I am sure she will love you forever.

Hello everyone! Maisie's new family reporting for duty! Sorry for not posting sooner but I was unable to join the forum for some technical reason! Anyway - Maisie! She is just the best & Nina 'please' don't worry - we have a very contented, playful attention seeker who adores everyone (except the local rabbit population ) and everyone adores her right back! We can't really put into words just how well she has settled in - you were quite right - she really has made this her home in literally a matter of days. We have great long walks around the fields, play endless games and my elbow is almost numb from all her nudging - everything is just how it should be. It feels like she's been with us for months, not just 5 days, she is truly amazing. I'm not sure how to post pictures on the board, so perhaps you could post for me Nina if that's ok (the pics I emailed?) so everyone can see just how gorgeous she is. We are very 'very' lucky to have Maisie as part of our family and will always be so very grateful to SLR, Jenny, and particuarly Nina for everything they did for Maisie and in choosing us to be her new family. H. x

One contented dog ;D Hope you keep us updated Helen. Thank you for coming along. We were inundated with applications, but Maisie knew we'd get it right, even if it did take a bit longer ;D Look forwad to meeting and walking in the summer. I think Kate will arrange a walk up her way

thats my rug there keith, with helen and susan, just before they left with Maisie. and no, i couldn't get 6 slr dogs on there!! i already have 2 of my own, so can only get 4 slr dogs on ;D ;D also its over to jenny for picture posting,i am another one who hasn't mastered that art yet, but give me time big thanks to helen, susan, and brian, for the update, and the love that they are giving little maisie. She is such a special dog, that she truly deserved a special family, and as we promised maisie that, thats exactly what we found for her. thanks again all, and give her big cuddle from me :-*xxx nina x

So nice to see little Maisie happy and settled in her new home, I am so glade we will be updated on her progress. Especially for Nina as I know she loved her so much, and will want to keep up with her news as we all will. Looks like she has gone to a smashing home and has settled in. Lovely to see a happy ending for another SLR dog .Keep up the good work.

Lump in throat time here. Helen and family - she looks ( and sounds ) to be so at home already. Thought she would! Wishing you all MANY MANY happy days with your new little family member. Don't forget, I want to introduce her to Ro..he loves pretty girls! See you maybe when you have some time over from walking, cuddling, admiring, spoiling and all that good stuff!
