She really is nice.....I like her. Being 7 is no bad thing...most Lurchers live well into their teens, and she's only in her forties in human years! Nothing wrong with that! No house-training or chewing...she'd make a perfect companion. It would lovely for her if she could go straight into foster (with a view to failing).....or even a new home.

We picked her up this afternoon, I know its early days but she seems not fazzed by much. She's enjoying tearing around the garden, met the cats indoors and wasn't fussed but out in the garden its fair game! Finn's not to interested at the moment, he's played a few chasing games but she has much more energy, I'm sure he'll enjoy sharing sofa space when she's settled in. Ill put some photos on here in time. thank you for giving us the oppotunity to have her join our family, i'm sure there will be much fun!

Dear Henrypup
So happy to hear she is settling in. Welcome to the southern lurcher crowd. ( Kent division). Perhaps we can meet on the canal walk...or six mile woods. The cats will soon realise she wants to chase outdoors. You can always use a muzzle for a few days until she gets to know the cats are part of the family.
Be happy Molly.

It's brilliant that Molly has been able to move directly from one great home to another ;D Well done Henrypup I'm glad it's been such a good start and look forward to seeing some photos once you've all found your feet/paws. Have a very lovely rest-of-life Molly

I spoke to Tamzin this morning, and Molly had a great first night. Although she had discovered the 80 acres behind the house and was really keen to explore. But she is now off to the forest for a walk with new brother Finn and daddy. There's a special little birthday in the house today, so what a lovely second birthday pressie. Welcome to the forum Tamzin.

My husband took her round the woods oblivious to the fact that maybe she should be on the lead! but she walked beautifully with Finn and came back when called. She popped into see the vet for a quick check over and he said she was in perfect condition and a healthy little specimen. I gave her a treat when she came home and my 2 year old marched straight over to her and pulled it out her mouth, and what a good girl she was and just let him do it (he thought it looked quite tasty) Would love to meet up for a walk sometime, thank you for everyones kind words x
