I've had a phonecall and 2 lovely emails from Mair already. Here's what she wrote Hey there Helen
Thank YOU! What a star you are for fostering these pups, great stuff
Herself seems to like the garden, shame i didn't check it for cat poop first though, ewww! Why do dogs have to eat the stuff?! Also thinking Pekoe Pea may be appropriate as hallway carpet's already been christened?
She seems settled & is mostly dozing on her futon, unless i leave the room, in which case she has to come & check out why i've left, bless her.
Please find attached a couple of pics... she seems to like the sea view
Thanks again to you all for being such brilliant women & saving these dogs, they're grand.
Speak again soon
Mair xHere's the piccies she sent I LOVE this one Gorgeous gorgeous dogglet x x x

Munch (aka Pekoes) wanted to send y'all a yip & a hmmmm (as close as she can get to a purr Helen, lol) Apologies for my ignorance with this forum, only just realised how to read more than 1 page, doh! So tis actually the 1st time have read more than the 1st page of postings to this thread... thanks so much for your kind words & support stars! Feel very honoured indeed to have been given this youngster to care for, bless her paws! It's our 1st local vet visit tomorrow as although the lovely lass seems to be doing very well, want to double-check that a professional thinks the same & that her hip/leg are mending properly etc. Shall do my best to keep you updated. Thanks Helen & Anna for your belief in me being able to give this bundle of love & joy a new home, & a safe & happy life, love her loads! M&M x Long live SLR!

Well we've been to the vets & Munch was an absolute star The vet's very happy with the way she's progressing overall, although she still needs to put on a bit more weight (she's 14.7kg & ideally should be 15.5ish). She wasn't overly happy with the hip/leg though, as there wasn't as much movement as she'd like to have seen below the hip, so has asked me to get info from SLR's vet re. exactly what she had done & we'll take it from there. Failing this shall have to get an x-ray done... She suggested that hydrotherapy might help, so we'll be heading down that beach at low tide a.s.a.p M&M xx

Aw poor Munch. Her leg has improved so much to what it was though hasn't it?
Hydro is great, Josie (spoilt bag) will be going in a few weeks too, and will for rest of her life. (Spoilt bag x2)
Hey Munch can come and hold Josie's hoof anf they can swim together!!

Thanks for posting the pic Helen Munch seems so happy with water now that she goes into her turbo tripod mode when down on the beach (especially when she sees other dogs or children), not great for gentle hydrotherapy but as you said star, repetition should hopefully start sorting this... She also loved being out in the deluging rain today & similar kangaroo-ing amongst the flash flood puddles!? Absolute loon of a lurcher, love her loads :-) xx
