He had a great 1st night no problems at all. We had our 1st vistors today and Mickey was very well behaved. Was excited to see our guests, after a few minutes of them ignoring him he settled with no bother at all(As long as you ignore him for a few minutes after arriving he doesnt bother so much with the jumping up .So well done Mickey mwah ) ...,His of to the vets tomorrow as he has a broken nail bless him and its bothering him, going to get it sorted for the chappy. He does feel sorry for him self but as we all no they are a little bit girlie are lurchers at times hehehe..... Right of to sort dinner then if rain stops out for the evening walk. chat soon Maxine x

Morning all He had another good night. had to settle him a few times but he was good stayed down stairs.Had his walk this morning with rob,had his breaky, just chilling out on his beany. He loves laying on his back having his belly stroked & behind his ears hehehehe......eyes rolling lol.....makes me laugh. His coming out of himself now i think wants to play and loves his squeeky toys. Its his nail thats stopping him really at the moment. His got the vets at 5:30 this evening so will go and get it checked out.His still nibbling at it and his nail looks cracked all around half way up the nail .Not sure what they will do? let you no how he gets on. Had another visitor this morning briefly and again i told him to settle and laydown as so not to jump up he was fine. So proud of him .Wants your aware of this i think only time will tell to sort it out fully. his listening to us so thats a start so fingers crossed. His very good on the lead when out for walks. And he barked for the 1st time last night lol....he almost talks to you hehe very sweet. Its a bit wet in dunstable today and not to keen on going in the garden lol, rather stretch out on the chair lol . Get back to you when his seen the vet Maxine x

Well Mickey has been to the vet and they have snipped his nail a bit,but because the split is so far up they are reluctant to snip it right back. And it would hurt the chap and bleed alot.So like i said they have snipped it back and said will have to let him grow it out.Well i hope he dont catch it ..just have to keep an eye on it.

lmao @ keith hehehe.....When i next go shopping if i see loads of toys ...will send SLR some for all them poor lurchers coming in playing with glass bottles tututut ;P Still being a good boy i think his a darling. Been doing laps around the garden yesterday and today with the tennis ball.Made a pull for him out of some old socks tied them together and he loves a tug of war with that ...Blue peter eat ya heart out hahaha......

lmao @ keith hehehe.....When i next go shopping if i see loads of toys ...will send SLR some for all them poor lurchers coming in playing with glass bottles tututut ;P Nope - they're actually flattened plastic milk bottles. Annie loves them, & so did Mickey while he was here - I had to ensure that there were always a couple on the go to avoid possible fisticuffs. ;D
Pleased that the lad's still proving a hit, but you've still got a few days before make your mind up time!
