We are so pleased that Maisie has found her home. It broke our hearts to return her, but we are really really pleased to see her so happy. We wish you well.

Maisie has been here for around a month now and has settled well. I have come to the conclusion that girls are easier than boys (at least as far as dogs go, humans I will never understand) as Maisie is better behaved and responds well to most commands move immediately than Max (mind you, it might be the female telepathy that women never admit to!) However, this morning I have begun to believe that she is not so bright. She is still bin raiding so I left a bag of dry food out just near the bin where she could easily reach it after a smaller breakfast than usual and she still raided the bin despite the fact that there were only some clean plastic wrappers in the bin. daft hound! She and Max get on well (mostly) and, in a way, it is a shame that both Maisie and Max have both been "done". If they had a litter together, then their pups would be M&M's and very, very fast. We (me and the dogs) have Cai (still looking for a home) with us atm and when they run past me at full speed it is like a herd of horses galloping by. When they're both running at full speed, Max is still fastest but they do both get a full work out now. Have fun everyone, Andrew/

Thanks for the update - 'tis good to know that all's going well, & that you're being kept on your toes!

The picture of Maisie playing with your dogs in Cai's thread is beautiful > I am so pleased her life has worked out well and she can run free as she does.

and that is worth multiple viewings...a photo that just makes me smile. Maisie looks very like my lurcher so I think she's gorgeous. They look so happy- the sort of happiness that comes from a great run but also the certainty of being loved and feeling certain. That's how your beautiful dogs look - perfect.
