I also had Lola here for a few days and she is a dream and great praise to Sheena for all she has done with this wee beauty as she was very bad when she came into her.

Little Miss Sunshine, or Lolly as she has affectionately been nicknamed here had a wonderful night's sleep. She was shown her raised camp bed with cosy quilt alongside Michael's side of the bed. Wagged, licked and had sweet dreams til Tag wanted his usual 6 a.m. wee. What a little star. She met her new mum and dad to be yesterday, and please please cross fingers, that he has had no allergic reaction to her overnight, as they too are smitten. If all is well they are coming to collect Lolly today ;D I loves her already.

So sad, I have had an email from Giles this morning, who so wanted to take Lola on. He has had an allergic reaction and therefore had to make the decision not to go ahead with adopting Lola. I do understand as Michael has the same problem with some breeds of dogs, particularly Springers and Labs. Lola is quite happy here and does have a couple of applications for her, so we will find her the perfect home.

Don't say I didn't warn you Jenny about how infectious and addictive Lola is ..... dear god it feels so empty here without her, especially when I am going over the fields and have no one to chat to I have no doubt that she won't be sitting around waiting for long as she is really all the attributes you would like in a dog rolled into one neat little body Give her a big hug and from me Jenny

Hugs duly administered Sheena. She has been sunbathing today and my little student Ellie came round today and she was an absolute star. Ellie wants a photo of her as a screen saver ;D

Lola has fully integrated into the household, accepted by Elly now. We have been taking her on the school run with the girls to Pish and today she was crying at the girls running everywhere. She looked up at me and back at them and I just had to let her go. She flew, she tore around with Mims and Sofi and then came rushing back to me, jumped up at me, licked me and off she went again. They all soon settled to a poodling pace and were mooching in the long grass together. We had a lovely walk where Lolly met a labrador and a border terrier and bounded up to each with wagging tail. Everyone we met was smitten with her. She now travels in the back of the car with the girls and is curled up in the kitchen next to Tag as I type. Lola had special visitors this morning. And it was instant love. Tomorrow Lola is going over to meet the resident cat, and with her bags packed, just in case the cat says "yes". She will still be under SLR care for a few weeks whilst her Dermodex clears up, ready for neutering, but Shirley doesn't mind taking her back to North Weald for her skin scrapes in a couple of weeks time. Fingers crossed for tomorrow xx

Just returned from leaving little Lolly with her new mum and dad Shirley and Ray. Just one piccie at the mo as I have to rush off soon to teach. Tag said his goodbyes with licks all round her face and they all seemed to know. She had a lovely walk at Pish today and we met up with new member Andrew and the lovely Max. I am sure she is going to have a lovely life with Shirley and Ray, and just wish that I had room in my home for her. She is a dog that you dream about. Well done Sheena, another poppet. God bless little one and I will see you soon. xxxxxxxxxxx

I did a post-homevisit on little Lolly, now named Molly last week. She is so loved and so happy. I got the biggest greeting, including tongues and a face wash. Just a couple of piccies of Molly a few months on. She is off to be neutered in October. All the best little pup. She has one tooth that sticks out a little and makes her have a smile. She also does smile with her lips, so funny. I so love this little one.
