Amby arrived today, and straight into the arms of his new mum Sheena. Some photos first thing this morning. He is a lovely boy, a big lovely boy and just fits into the back of Sheena's car He is calm and loving, and stunning. And those beautiful baggy pants.

I've spoken to Sheena this evening and Amby is still being a dream dog. He was good in the car and has settled well in Sheenas house. They've had a lovely walk this afternoon and he is now settled in her living room. Sheena will post an update in the morning - we were up at 5am this morning to meet the dog delivery at Harlow, so I think we are both a tad tired

I have had the pleasure of having this handsome dog stay at my place for a night before he went over and he is a smasher and also a BIG boy and very gentle and Sheena has done great with him and brought him on to what he is now.

English adopter Sheena phoned this morning and said that Mr. Amby is to become Mr. Finian, and has been a total poppet. He loves to sniff in the hedgerows and is a pure gentleman. So, happy endings here we come... ;D

At long last, I have had some luck getting onto the internet and also accessed the SLR site. This is my 3rd try in 2 days attempting to log this message. Anyway, this is about Finian, renamed from Amby, because he is such a handsome fellow and this name means just that in Irish Gaelic. After collecting him on Sunday 14th June from a MacDonald's car park in the company of Jenny and Caroline. He has taken all the changes to his life with equanimity and grace. He has been so good and well behaved, only trying to eat a book once and nibbling at a wooden stair rail before being told NO, which he understands totally. As well as being well behaved he is also very affectionate and the only time he makes any noise is when he is saying goodnight and makes a kind of whinny noise that stops when I respond with a 'good night'. We have had some very pleasant walks and been to various different places, all discoveries for myself as well. Hopefully I have managed to attach some pics. [/img]
