Gracie passed her initial vet checkup A1. Anil agrees with Jenny & I that her age needs to be revised upwards again - she's definitely nearer 8 than 5 or 6, but having said that, she's played like a pup with both Pekoes & Annie this morning.
Gracie is a total poppet - she's socialised well with the Hooligans, & with a variety of dogs at the vets. She is a happy soul, with a virtually non-stop wagging tail, walks well on the lead, is housetrained, & is very affectionate. 'Tis a pleasure to have her here.
We have another angel in our midst!

Oh Barney, she sounds a very dear little soul. She must be so so happy, probably thinking she's ended up in heaven......... First impressions are telling so much about these gentle dogs, dont they, Barney? Their body language, the expression in their sweet little faces - how grateful they are! It must be all so new for little Gracie............... She is visibly happy, excited, and smiling......... Oh, life is so good, isn't it, Gracie?

Gracie enjoyed the nice bit of sun we had this afternoon, in fact she seems to like being outside, whether 'tis shining or not.
The lass continues to be an absolute poppet.
Gracie is obviously tired after her long journey & all the exercise she's had today...............................
..........................& a little snooze was quite in order.

Awwww she is absolutely adorable, definitely have a soft spot for her now. You won't find me disagreeing with that Hannah - she's a total, absolute poppet who hasn't put a paw wrong all day. Thank you from both of us - I'm sure we could each do with a decent night's kip following our various experiences over the past couple of days!

Gracie slept right through, having chosen the small dog bed in the lounge to spend the night in. She's been out for a walk, during which she was once again a poppet on the lead, & has eaten a good sized breakfast of mince & Burns Chicken & Brown Rice, which she had in the crate with the door left open.
This lass is proving to be a real treasure, & my only concern is for the safety of her tail, which is in almost perpetual motion, no matter where she's standing, (or laying! ).

Crickey! That breakfast looks huge. Gracie obviously didn't think so Fiona, since she scoffed the lot, though in an appropriately ladylike manner. The only Guinness in this home-kennel sits in the fridge for when Keith visits. She's not been here long enough to discover if she's partial to a drop of Oz, (sorry!), red falling-down fruitjuice, & certainly not at breakfast time! ;D................& from here!
