We work closely with this lovely Irish rescue lady and have just received details of two gorgeous hounds who deserve the very best chance in life. If you feel you can offer little Gracie a new start then please contact us. ................................................................ Grace is arriving at SLR on Saturday morning.Gracie is a lovely Little Whippet/Lurcher lady (she measures 21” at the shoulder) and she is 8 years now modified to read 5/6 years old ;D old and is a very sweet dog, she has lovely brindle and white colouring and she seems to be getting a rough coat. She gets on great with dogs her own size but can be a bit rough with dogs smaller than her (after all she is an old lady and is entitled to her own space) and she loves children and welcomes everybody with a waggy tail. She is also good on the lead and is learning to be clean in her kennel She is Vaccinated, Microchipped and is getting Spayed. Gracie will be ready for rehoming soon after arrival. ;D *********************

Jenny thinks she could take a note out of Sasha's recent guide book. So we agree for the moment that my wee garden is not enough of a fortress for the kanny lass We back onto a common & the temptation might become to great for her ;D Badger, as Jenny put it, is a homely soul, who at times can be scared of his own shadow. He is more than happy to have his game of tennis or frisby round the back fields, then potter back home to explore his domain. Keeping a watchful eye on our next door neighbour who is a keen gardener. They spend most weekends building a growing relationship as Badger is not so sure of men. But he loves teenage boys, I guess their voices are not as deep? Gracie sounds adorable, so we will see what her happy future holds. xxx

So looking forward to seeing and hearing about her We need to establish the kind of environment that will best meet Gracie's needs, so 'tis probable that she'll stay in Harlow for a day or two for initial assessment before going to her foster home.

Looks like we were beaten to the fostering by Caroline So looking forward to seeing and hearing about her Hannah Things are a bit lively here at the moment with two 18mths old lurchers and we need to be sure that Gracie would thrive in that kind of environment. No final decision is made at the moment - so throw your hat in the ring ;D
