We had a phone call yesterday from a senior citizen couple who are emigrating back to America to be near their family in their later years. They cannot take Chloe with them. Until yesterday they had a new home lined up for Chloe to go to, but the family changed their minds yesterday. They have asked us to take Chloe in. We have until the 10th May to rehome Chloe straight from home or else she is coming into foster with SLR. She is good with other dogs, although shy and will probably just hide herself away in a corner. She is really good with children and with people. She just wants to have a quiet life. She has been good off-lead but will be nervous of new environments at first. SHE IS CAT FRIENDLY. Chloe is neutered and all her vaccinations are up to date and in good health. This is so sad.. Her whole world is about to change and we need to make sure that it does it gently and lovingly. Can you give Chloe a home, or can one of our members offer to foster Chloe. We need a foster home that is quiet, not dominant dogs and where Chloe will have time to adjust. Here she is, lovely little Chloe.

She is still very active Jazz and needs her daily walks. You are lovely to offer, but I need a quiet but active home.

I'd offer but I think she needs someone round a bit more than I would be.
Bless her heart.

I may have a foster, but would really like to sort out a home. We do have a lady interested in an oldie but we need a homecheck for her.

Poor little Chloe looks very sad, I think she knows what is going on................ I agree, Jenny, a home where she could go straight in would probably be a better idea rather than moving her around. Where is the home check, Jenny? Viviane. X

My head is pounding Rachel She has a home offer and they have been homechecked. Just a meeting to go, but they have previous engagements that they can't get out of, a wedding blessing and a big birthday, so we may have to bring her in for foster. I am sounding out fosters now

Got to be small childless as she is a timid submissive little soul. Thanks Helen. You look after our little Lady.

I'm sure Chloe will be fine once she settles into her new forever home. Mummy Chook will make certain she has nothing but the perfect family to start her new life, for her golden years ahead. Good Luck xxx

As Mischa is going on Sunday she could come here for a few days if needed Jenny but it might be a round about way for her to go I have no idea where she is now and it looks like she might going to Hampshire is that right. Don't think I will be much help.

Hi everyone Thanks to Jenny's excellent communication skills today, Saffie and I are going to collect Chloe on Monday. We're very excited! Here's a Christmas picture of Saffie: And this is Ben, her long-term companion who we lost last month to progressive paralysis of his back legs: And last but not least, I can't leave out my three marauding chickens, who will meet Chloe everytime she shuffles out into the garden for a wee:
