We find it hard to believe, too.
The problem I think may be that she's too whippety to appeal to people looking for a staffie type and too staffie for those looking for something whippety.
Also she is quite needy and needs a particular type of new home - someone there nearly all day (or able to deal with her separation problems), probably without younger children (or younger grandchildren), relatively fit. Someone who might have taken early retirement either without children or with childless children, possibly with a steady dog to guide Gem in the ways of the hearth rug. Those people are out there, they just don't know they want Gem.

Just keep her for another ten months 'til I retire, train her to be cat and chicken friendly - then send her down to Oxford ;D

She is so lovely. I can't understand why no one wants her?

Gem is still here and makes us laugh more each day. She's now taken to throwing her kong at us, or leaving it on the half landing, if we're too slow going out in the morning.

This little girlie has come on so much since John and Viv took her in for us. She smiles now, have a look at her first piccies, and her recent ones. Love you poppet.

Our 10 month old pup Bella looks to be a clone of Gem! Sorry that she has not found a home yet. We have been following her story for a while now. We had not seen a dog that looks like ours until Gem. She sounds lovely - very much like our girl. Loves the belly rubs! Quite demanding too! Too bad we aren't anywhere near the area, or we would consider adding her to our family.

Gem is a lovely little thing, quite unlike our two housedogs, who can be aloof and don't play ball. Gem likes people and loves catching her kong on a rope, but still isn't too sure about dogs when she first meets them. She hates cats, unfortunately

Gem has just gone to her Uncle Barney's while we celebrate our daughter's nuptials, so don't panic if he puts posts and pictures up.

John & Viv have just collected Gem, & I was able to tell them that she has been the perfect houseguest, & will be welcome in the Harlow Hooligans' home-kennel any time.
