Please meet Dooley, whose seven days were up after he was found wandering somewhere north of Bishop's Stortford:
Dooley is no more than 6 months old & stands around 23/24" to the shoulder, with a bit more growing still to do.
Jenny deliberately walked him within a few feet of a cat when we picked him up from the holding kennels, & he showed no reaction whatsoever, nor did he towards the ducks & chickens in the yard.
In the few hours he was here before travelling up to Norfolk with Louise, (Boycesmum), he proved himself to be very affectionate, & he got on well with the resident hounds, although he was told off by both Winnie & Murphy when he tried to hump them.
Being just a pup, he loves to play, & enjoyed a really good romp with Annie. He took treats nicely & wasn't pushy when I was giving them to all the hounds.
Dooley is not yet neutered, nor is he housetrained, but he has a super temperament.
Barney x

What a lovely looking lad! There is obviously something in the name Dooley (which means Dark Warrior in Irish), my deerhound is Dooley, who is the brother to Louise's (boycesmum) Connie, and he's a cutie too!!
You won't have him around too long, he's so scrummy!!
I can't even think about it, I have 4 dogs too and with Dooley only 8 months I think I've got more than enough to contend with!
Good luck little Dooley xx
