Uncle Barney is picking her up as I type along with little Pip. Poor mite has been in kennels for 10 weeks as they felt she was so rehomable, but no-one came to see her. We couldn't leave her behind so here she is. More details to follow.

no no no! That's so cliched. My ex boyfriend was born on Christmas day and was called Noel, so I've had a great distaste for festive names ever since. She looks like Sprocket from Fraggle Rock I would call her either Fraggle or Sprocket. www.80scartoons.co.uk/fraggle-rock.html"Then theres Sprocket, the cute dog that the Fraggles think is a terrifying beast from Outer Space." ;D ;D

OR, if you want to go down the M route, one of the lady fraggles was called Mokey.

So pleased she's safe and will be warm... a name that's totally unrelated to Christmas, but has a nice sound: Flicka. It's Swedish for "girl", or "little girl".

I'd already set off to have her microchipped before any suggestions came in, so had to think of a name on the hoof & decided on Amy.
She's a dear little soul - smaller & prettier than she looks in the photo. Of course, plonker that I am I forgot to take my camera! so new pics will have to wait for a couple of days.
She seems quite timid, though this might just be the initial reaction to getting out from behind bars, bless her.
SLR's run of luck in taking on board desirable hounds seems to have continued - certainly I'd have no hesitation in offering her a permanent place in my home-kennel if I didn't need to keep a space for fosters.

Thank you Rosa and Doug. Amy is at a lovely rescue kennel for us tonight and I will go over tomorrow and get her out. She will stay with us tomorrow night and then Rosa and Doug are taking her with them for Christmas. If she fits in who knows? But Uncle Barney will have a space from the 27th December. She is only about 21/22 inches at the shoulder. Poor little wee mite. She has probably gone stir crazy from being in kennels for 10 weeks. Promise, i will free her tomorrow. ;D All is peace tonight at least

Never have Barney and I met a dog so different from her first picture. She is a little midget. A whippet/beddie x. She is absolutely beautiful and a lovely little character. I would estimate her age at about 17-20 months. Meausring in, if she woud stop squirming, and licking, at 20 inches at the shoulder. Poor little mite had to go to the bath immediately as being longer coated she had that urine smell that they get being long term in kennels. I was lucky to get her away from Mutts, the kennel girls had fallen in love with her after just one night ;D Thanks Mutts for helping us out. Definitely not cat friendly I'm afraid. Well, all bathed and smelling gorgeous and a lot lighter in colour than when she went in, she is a little Annie lookalike, for all those who remember Barney fostering Annie. Good job she hasn't gone to Uncle Barney, it would be fail this time for sure. She has not stopped licking and wagging since she got here. Well......... Here she is...... She's so so so so gorgeous...... Wish she'd stay still.... She is so so miniature - everything lurchery, but in miniature. And those eyes, eyes to die for.. She scrubbed up so prettily ;D Mummy chook had to stop at the local supermarket on the way home for pull-ups as poor little Amy is in fulll season. The nappy isn't on all the time, but will be on when we are all in the lounge with a certain little Pip around. Amy is off to meet Rosa and Doug in the morning. As Enzo is about 27 inches at the shoulder, she should just be able to duck under him ;D Doesn't Auntie Claire's collar look stunning on her.
