He is a happy waggy dog and I just wish we had to room for him to stay. I must have missed this when I read the thread first....I was wondering how can you let him go Jenny....he seems soo sweet and so good-looking of course! I certainly would like him around and I hope we can meet him at one of the walks soon (we'll keep the monster on the lead in case)

Little piglet was weighed again today. He is not 22.45 kilos. And he still insists that I pick him up and put him in the back of the tailgate He is the biggest but cutest woos in the world. And no Oreste, I am not allowed to fail again. Have you ever tried six dogs in the house

Forrest is 105 years old and can knock Sykes flat, but Siouxzi is still lifting him over her tailgate! He's jumped in once apparently.

;D ;D ;D Milo was side-slidered by Archie this morning. Whoosh, straight along a cow-pat. One side was pristine white and the other, poo No harm done. They all then pinned down Sofi in the usual fashion, including Mim who is learning too much from the big lurchers

We had a lovely walk at Pish on Thursday. I have only just had time to load the photos. Milo knows all his friends there and runs to greet them all, including this chap. Yes, it's a bull. But Milo only runs up and says hello and then comes back. He is doing really well with the herd at Pish. With Holly He was out with Mim and Sofi on Thursday. His favourite game, stalking Sofi. Where's she gone now? I've lost her. Wait for me What mischief can we get up to next Sofi? Wow! Here come our friends. Especially Sotty the cocker. Milo really likes him.

Hmmm... Has Archie met Sykes?! Tee hee. ;D Only just caught up with this. Archie would probably run a mile if Sykes chased him. He is a big baby, especially with Yorkshire terriers who tell him off ;D

I met the lovely Milo today and he is gorgeous! I agree, having met him in the flesh today all I can say is he's a darling. He really wants his forever home and Mum and Dad to come along very soon. (he told me he would so love a new home for Christmas) Milo is stunning.

I know that Mr Tag and Milo are little hooligans together, but do you think the woos would calm down if he had a slightly older big bro, Jen?

He needs either a bitch who will show him the ropes or an older dog who will just ignore his puppiness. Probably around the age of 3 upwards. He also needs someone around pretty much 21/7 for a few more months yet. The dynamics here are good for pecking orders, but too many exciting things happening and lots of visitors, so a calm atmosphere is needed for him to settle.

Will be taking Milo's details with me when Joy and I do our "Meet and Greet" at Pets@Home in Havant this Saturday - together with piccies of all the other hounds currently under SLR's wings. Christmas is nearly there, so please, Santa, listen to us what we have to say to everybody. Milo, in particular, has been waiting for some time now, and deserves his forever home, soon, please....... Viviane. X

He is now a healthy 22.5 kilos and growing. About 26 inches at the shoulder. He possesses a lovely nature, and when we go out he has free reign of the house. He has, however, with the help of Tag gone upstairs whilst I have been busy on the computer, and chewed the arms of the wooden sofa in the dog room. Other than that Milo does not touch anything. Tag has to be crated whilst we are out, but Milo and Sofi pop upstairs and have a snooze. Milo no longer barks for attention. He is the most faithful dog off the lead and walks nicely on lead. He does not like cats at all, in any shape or form, likewise with squirrels. They all sit at the back patio doors and bark furiously as the squirrels tease them by trotting along the back fence Milo gets along with all dogs, visiting dogs and is not in any way dominant. He and Tag have lovely play, and the bouncing off the sofas has now stopped. He snuggles up with Sofi and is a superb dog. We have had at least 10 applicants for Milo, but we have to get the criteria right I personally feel that Milo would be okay with children, as long as they did not pull him around. Although, having said that the stunt kids cuddle and tap him on the head and he loves it There is not a lot more to say, except we want the perfect home for this perfect dog. And yes, if Michael said yes tomorrow and I could afford it and cope with 6 I would fail in a heartbeat, but with a Mr. Tag in the house, I can't go to six. The Tagster is still a big handful.

Did any of the 10 applicants for Milo make the grade?

Did any of the 10 applicants for Milo make the grade? Nope You'd think it would be easy to place such a lovely dog. He needs - Someone around most of the time, we are talking a non-working person, not someone out of work temporarily, nor someone who will take him to work with them. He needs another dog around. He needs 6 foot fencing to the garden. He needs a garden as he still is only a pup and gets us up at 5 a.m. or 6.30 a.m. for a wee or even a poo. He needs to be away from cats or squirrels as they drive him nuts We have to look for a home with children above the age of 5. We don't think Milo would ever hurt a little one, but he is a biggish boy now at 23 kilos. He needs 3 good walks a day. He loves to stretch his legs and has lots of excess energy. Someone who will let Milo sleep upstairs. He loves to hog the sofa, so someone who doesn't mind that either. And endless cuddles and love. Think that covers it...... ;D

Milo went to dog training with us last night. He couldn't take part as he isn't registered but socialized with all the dogs there very nicely and had a little play with a lovely Irish Terrier. Tag couldn't concentrate on his obedience as he was looking to see what Milo was up to.
Milo will begin training next week whilst he is still with us..... unless...... we CAN FIND HIM THAT PERFECT HOME!! I blame Jeanette. ;D
Milo has absolutely no problems with meeting and greeting other doglets. It's just his tail..... it hurts. ;D
