I think we'll all be alright this time around actually. It could never be worse than letting Beagle go and now we're used to it, plus we know he's going to a lovely home

Danny is now on his way to his new home with Philippa, Dave and their daughter Alex ;D Danny was all over them and was sittong on Philippa and Alex's laps for cuddles! ;D We went for a short walk so Danny could meet Bunter, his new brother, and they got on really well, and that was that! Good luck in your new home Danny boy, and we'll come and visit you soon A final lot of photos: Having a heart to heart with Fionn : Cuddled up with Fionn: Being sleepy and gorgeous: Getting to know Bunter, who was lovely!

Well done, Philippa, Dave and Alex, for adopting Danny. You have a very lovely hound. Great to hear little Danny has gained a new brother as well, they will have endless games and fun with each other......... Thanks to you, rowan, you have given this little doglet the best possible start before he went today into his lovely forever home. Be happy and live a long and healthy life, little Danny........ Hi folks, I'm Bunter. 6 year old lurcher and now big bro to Danny. My servants, David (Dad), Philippa (Mum) and Alexandra (11 yo Daughter) and I, collected him from the lovely Blackmore home yesterday.
He seems to be settling in well; passed his first test, being introduced to 6 cats with flying colours. There was a bit of hissing from them but he was fine and they're all settling down OK.
Alex and her school chums have decided Danny is really Tigger. He's certainly very bouncy, so there may be a name change happening.
He had quite an anxious night but us a very good natured boy and we had a nice walk this morning (except I wasn't let off my lead; got to wait for Mum to come home at lunch time so we can have 1 to 1 supervision).
Dad says he'll post some photos if we'll give him 5 minutes and if someone computer literate (Helen? Rowan?) can tell him how.
More soon but for now I need to get some shut eye; it's tough keeping up with a youngster!

Hi Bunter and Co. I am sure that Tigger suits him really well. ;D If you look at the top of Chat threads Fabapocalypse has put in a sticky thread about posting photos on the forums. If you need them now just email them to me and I will put them on. Thank you for letting us know so quickly.

It took me 10 minutes to find how to reply to you, I don't dare navigate away from this page, I'll never find my way back! Seriously, where do I find the top of Chat threads?

Don't panic. You won't get lost for long. At the top of this page, scroll up and look on the left hand side where you have Southern Lurcher Rescue. Click on it. It brings up the front forum page. Scroll down until you find Chat and click on it. When you get into chat you will see lots of threads up the top with red icons next to them and one of them says, "How to post piccies" Click on that and hey presto. Or email them to me this time. We are dying to see them. ;D Or cheat and click on the link below here mimsmum.proboards104.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1505
