From what I saw it was indeed no more than scratches - and most likely it wouldn't have been even that if she had had more hair and better skin (time, medication and love will cure that). She perked up greatly later on the walk. Lovely dog, remarkably brave on the Tube for one so timid. She seemed to get on well with The Lumbering Great Almost A Lurcher and The Pretty Girl. My friends are definately smitten with her. Hope she likes her share of the Pigs Ears I brought off Mimsmum. Another one heads for the boats - I'm glad I pointed them this way Rick

Oh god Rick. I didn't recognise you on Sunday. So sorry. Don't feed her all those pigs ears in one go though, I can just imagine methane gas on the boat.

Keith's first aid left Prim feeling so loved I think she felt she'd come out best! She was fine on the way home and it doesn't seem to have put her off playing at all.
She is curled up next to me now and I can't wait to have her live with us permanently (date imminent but TBC). Barring things I don't want to consider she has persuaded us that we are good enough for her, and we already love her to little furry bits. ;D

Very selfless of you, Keith.
Rick is always after our lurchers too. Our little Penny has his heart.
A couple of photos of Prim on her first visit to the boat.
She likes sleeping next to the fire very much, but she still gives it dirty looks as she passes it.
She likes pigs ears too, with the predictable methane result...
Happy with my lot right now. ;D

;D Primrose has moved in! ;D
Little Miss Prissy Prim moved in with us all on Friday night. She slept through both nights, asked very politely to go out in the morning and has generally settled in brilliantly.
She sleeps on my feet just as my Tigger used to.
She is still too shy to stand her ground in the communal food bowl and she backs off if the others hussles her out, but that's only happened once. And she already ignores Pen's grumbles when she clambers over her.
Once we have recall in the park and don't have to rely on her wearing herself out to get her back we'll be entirely happy.
I know Jamie found it very hard to give her up, her history has given me even more respect for all you fosterers out there.
Thank you all for your kind wishes. I hope that we are now a happy ending. ;D

Hey,
I'm so glad Prim is settling in well. Jamie and I were looking at pictures of her today and both had a sand/eye moment. I bet she's dead happy with other lovely lurchers to play with - I've never known such a playful girl in all my days.
Will you keep us up to date with her dermodex? I've been watching all that lovely fur grow back for a while now so I'd love to see her with a full coat one day!
I tell you, she's a diamond of a dog, we'll never, ever forget her and as hard as it is to let her go it's such a comfort to know she's with a family who love and understand her.

Hello all you Prim-fans! She has had a truly marvellous day today and I can't tell you all how proud I am of her! ;D ;D
We've had some real issues with recall, including a memorable hour following her around Regent's Park on Saturday, trying to catch up with her without spooking her.
Today she played in the park with Penny and Yoric until she wore them out, and then played with her kong. Penny got interested, and Prim stopped throwng it for herself, and threw it to Penny, who then ran off with it, not I think what Prim was after!
Prim came for treats, and voluntarily gave herself up when we put the others on leads at the end!
She is completely at home with us already.
She sleeps in a pile with the others.
In the night I woke up cos it was too hot, and she and Penny had both retreated to the cooler saloon, and were curled up together on one cushioned bench. Too sleepy to find the camera I'm afraid.
Her skin condition will continue to be treated by the Beaumont (my current vets as well as hers ) and she's off for her next treatment on Thursday.
I have bought a great pro-biotic supplement that I found to help with that and she should be on the mend in no time!
We are hoping to meet with her foster and Messydesk on Thurdsay after the vet, I can't wait to see her happiness at seeing her old friends. She is so loving and we are so LUCKY. ;D ;D

Thank you very much about the lovely update on Primrose. Sie is a lucky girl to have found you - and you are lucky to have her so it swings around. These happy endings are so so rewarding and it makes it all so worthwhile. Judging from the piccies, she has already completely settled into her new life which little Primrose deserved so much, she is so happy and relaxed...................... Please keep us updated on her progress, we will enjoy them! Viviane. X

How is little Primrose doing? She is a gorgeous young lady, My suluki also looked very sorry for himself when I got him back in October and the seperation anxiety was a trouble, as I also have neighbours that were less than understanding...However with lots of love he is so much better. He manages about 2 hours now without howling down the place.... she is a miracle of course for making it through all of what life has delt her so far, The future is full of sunshine, games and cuddles now in her new home. Sounds like she is having the time of her life xx
