Eddie was introduced to SLR through Delfin who has offered to foster him until he is rehomed. This is what Julie has to say about this lovely doglet. Eddie is the perfect dog who is being re-homed due to a serious family illness and through no fault of his own. This was my friends dog and as she has had him since he was a puppy, I know him very well and can definitely say he is one of the sweetest and best behaved dogs I have ever met. Eddie is a very sensitive soul and would like to live in a quiet home, either as an only dog or with one other. He is a real mummy’s boy and loves a fuss and a cuddle. He has lived with very small dogs, a female greyhound and is cat friendly. He loves other dogs and tears around the park everyday with his friends, then likes to come home and relax. He walks well on a lead and has excellent recall ( for a lurcher). He has been living in London, but would prefer to live somewhere with less noise and traffic as he is not the bravest of boys. He travels very well in the car, is used to public transport , is totally clean in the house and can be left for 3-4 hours without any problems. Eddie had a accident when he was 6 months old and fractured his leg. This was pinned by the vet and has caused him no problems since. He is castrated, micro chipped and vaccinated. Born approx Easter 2006. And here is the lovely Eddie.

Eddie, the sweetest dog I have ever met has left today for his new life with his new family.
I was very sad to see him go, as I love him, but they fitted my wish list for him perfectly and he will be very happy with his new life.
The only way I could have kept him was to rehome my 4 norty hooligans and have a nice normal dog instead - tempting ;D ;D

Hello everyone, We brought the beautiful Eddie home with us yesterday afternoon and he is just unbelievable. So incredibly sweet and it feels like he's been here a lot more than just 24 hours! He had a good sniff around the house when we first got home and soon found his bed. He seems a little weary when we're out on walks and just seems to hide behind me all the time, apart from when he realises we're on our way back - then he's definitely out in front! ;D He ate all his dinner up last night and breakfast didn't touch the sides either this morning! Last night he crashed out on the sofa with me, head on my lap, like he's always been there, so lovely. He seems very relaxed and happy! He has been fantastic with the kids and loves their company when they're around. He has now parked himself on a strategic part of the landing where he can see both their bedrooms. Thank you very much to Jenny for all your help and of course to Julie for letting us bring him home with us. I can now totally appreciate how difficult it must have been to let him go, but I promise you he will have a fantastic life with us and we will all look after him and love him to pieces. We took a couple of pictures last night, pretty much as soon as we came home, so I will send some updates soon. I'll try posting them, but if I'm not successful I'll email them to Jenny. Bye for now, Yvonne. x
