I have been speaking to Betty this morning and little Maggie, as she is now going to be known by had a lovely sleepy night in her crate in the kitchen with the cat. They have touched noses with waggy tails and purrs.
The only reason for Lily's name change is that Betty has a friend who she will dog walk with with a dog named "Millie". So calling Millie and Lily is a bit too similar.
I am assured photos will be on their way soon, when Betty has mastered the photobucket loading. ;D

A lovely update from Martha on Maggie. And some great piccies. Maggie has settled in very well, she loves to run in the snow and has great fun in the garden, as you can see she's has plenty of space to run. She not convinced that she likes the big wide world outside of her home territory, walkies is not her favourite word! I'm persevering though, a little bit every day. She's mostly there with toilet training, just a couple of puddles but nothing in the last few days, famous last words, she'll probably catch me out later. Having removed a bit of the stuffing from one of her beds she's now got it just as she likes it. As she's decided that 'walks' are not her thing she managed to get her lead out of my coat pocket, I must have left the end hanging out, she chewed it almost in two, fortunatly I had another one that she didn't find, maybe she was trying to tell me that red is not her colour, her new lead is black! She loves to get up on my lap to have a snooze in the evenings, not sure if I should be encouraging her but I see other people let their dogs do it so it must be OK. Mummy made me some new beds - cosy Even cosier on the sofa ;D Mummy insists that I have lots of exercise. Wish she'd put some water in this dish thingy. Alright, off I go. I think I prefer doing this

I paid Betty as long overdue visit today to see how Maggie is getting on. What a lovely lovely doglet. (Knew I should have kept this one ) I took Miss Esme on her first official SLR homevisit and she and Maggie had a lovely time. Miss Esme also met Sooty the cat, and although curious was just fine. Mimsmum finally has a cat friendly ;D It was lovely seeing her again and it was even nicer to see a little Lurcher who was in tiptop condition and not overweight. All credit to Betty. A few piccies of lovely Maggie Sotty started this playtime I wasn't quick enough but Miss Esme sniffed nose to nose
