Here are some more pictures of Orin that I took today. Relaxing on his bed: Making himself at home on the sofa: Getting a stroke from my brother and his friend (both 11 years old): Out on a walk this afternoon (sorry it's really dark): He's muzzled only as a precaution, but he's shown no aggression to dogs out on our walks.

Orin has settled down here really well. They seem to be getting on now, which is good news. Orin loves people, and he deserves a family to call his own. I think he needs to be with another dog though, as he doesn't like being seperated from my two. Maybe a nice calm female? When meeting dogs out of walks, he crys a little, but I think this is just because he wants to play. He has no basic training, so he probably has no recall, but he understands if you tell him to go to his bed. As his confidence in the house has grown, he's become much more lively. He's very inquisitive and wants to know everything that's going on. When he's not sleeping he's usually running around wandering what everyone's up to. He had his first roach today, and in Tipton's bed too! I've just taken this photo, there hasn't been a single growl from anyone today! Out on a walk:

Has anyone seen GRWE's Rua? He looks and sounds just like Orin! Right, time for even more pictures. Most of these were taken on our walk this morning. There were loads of people and dogs and he was very well behaved Meeting Brian and Muttley: Posing for photos: Who could resist this face? He crept onto the sofa when we got home: He just wants his own sofa and lots of cuddles

So glad to hear he has settle in with your hound family , lovely photos I bet he wont be long in finding the right home. I was a bit concerned when I took Holly to foster as now I have three bitches they do get a O.T.T. when they start to play but I just have to keep them in order. After having three girls myself, I can just about manage three bitches. ;D ;D

With that colouring, those markings, and that facial expression, he's not unlike a smoother coated version of Caroline's Penny. [ /quote] deter the dogs from the sofa you need Brenda for that guys one off her looks would do it for you me thinks ;D PS go' s well with the color scheme.too ,,,,,,,pine hound very like Finn just the wrong colour

"Has anyone seen GRWE's Rua? He looks and sounds just like Orin!" I was going to mention Rua, beautiful dog as well!
Orin won't wait for long, he is so handsome and quite chilled it seem. As for the high prey drive it might be that he has to be a 'city' dog? Ajax is a city dog as well. Too many 'distractions' in the country for him. (especially sheep shaped ones ;D)

Photobucket wouldn't load these yesterday, but they're just a couple of videos of our walk yesterday, where Orin met lots of people and dogs. Scout is the black and white lurcher. She's usually quite timid, but she took quite a shine to Orin And in this one Muttley the shih zu is pestering him, but he wasn't really bothered

He is a strong and handsome hound, and he loves to hunt and the countryside, typical for a Saluki, eh? You will find a lovely home, Orin, and be a real blessing for somebody looking for a dog with your qualities. I'm sure it won't be long, you gorgeous hound. Viviane. X
